I guess y'all had a long drive ahead of you to get home and you figured Auburn, up by 20 in the 4th quarter, piece o' cake, the win was in the bag, so with most of the 4th quarter remaining, y'all got up and left.
Too bad you missed probably the most stunning and amazing come-back win and play in Jordan-Hare Stadium history.
But I'm sure you'll tell all you're buddies at the office today that YOU WERE THERE!
You weren't.
You bailed.
And the team and the J-H crowd didn't need you anyway.

I don't understand folks who do this. We had some GA fans in our section leave before Murray started slinging and Ford started being held on every play.

This was the sentiment of most AU fans in my section.

Do they visit the rant or something
Like collectively log on at the same time as a family and create topics and post in them as a family?
Auburn board is what I'm trying to say

Or the teenager beside me who sat motionless, expressionless, and silent the entire time. Why do these people even go to the game?

I'll acknowledge that we walked down to the tunnel to watch the 4th down play, simply because our section was mostly UGA and I wasn't sure I could handle it.
Didn't leave, although I regret I wasn't up there to see their reaction.

I can see if the start time was 6 or 7, but come on it was a 2:30 game.
We were probably the last section to leave, went to toomers, ate momma g's and got stuck in an hour of traffic on 400 and still got home before 12 eastern

I'm exaggerating a little. He wasn't held on the slants and we couldn't stop you. He was held on the play where Ford got injured. The uncalled intentional grounding, Murray not crossing the GL, and the obvious Ford hold were my complaints with the refs. Any of these go AU's way and the game was over. I'm sure the GA fans have their own ref complaints too. I'm just bitching for sport, not for show.

I hear you. I'm not nitpicking with you, I was just legitimately surprised by the dorks in our section wearing their earphones to hear the radio broadcast who immediately bitched about the lack of holding penalties on UGA's first scoring drive on the 2nd half. Even better, they stated that the commentators from the radio were pleading for holding.
I think they missed the part where we ran quick hitters the entire way down the field and didn't even have the opportunity to hold anybody b/c the ball was quickly out of Murray's hands.

Biggest fail of the night had to go to the hammered AU fan in Section 1, Row 1 who got pissed off and decided to throw a couple plastic cups on the field after UGA took the lead. Security yanked his arse up by the back of his shirt and led him out right before the Hail Mary.

What's with all the open letters from Auburn fans today?

Who's gonna write a letter to the 50,000 fans that were leaving before halftime of last year's games?

Once the buzz wore off, you couldn't watch Auburn last year. Fans had to leave for their own safety.
2012 Auburn football, especially later in the season, was like watching a solar eclipse. If you stare at it, you're going blind.
