SMH. I guess, Gamecock fans aren't showing up this year to support their team?

Ticket prices were (generally) too expensive for a 6 PM Thursday night game....

It's opening week of the college football season, no excuses.

It's in freaking Charlotte. I'd think they'd be able to fill up for a UNC/USCe game just with the local population.

I heard they didn't allot any student tickets for either school. Is that correct?

If so, that's major bullshite.

I was planning on going until I found out how ridiculous the ticket prices are. The processing fees on ticketmaster etc. don't help either. It ends up being 100 bucks for turrible seats

Not gonna drive over an hour both ways and potentially sit in the rain for 3 hours to watch two teams barely over .500 last year play.

The committee that set the prices so high hopefully will learn their lesson when the entire upper deck is empty. There will be more people at the ECU game in 2011 than this game.

Also kinda hope we don't do this bullshite again. I'd rather just do home and home series than neutral site nonsense

I thought a friend of mine down there said they were selling student tickets for $100, but he's also in his 6th year so he might not know what the hell he's talking about.

Thursday at 6 sucks but it still would be pathetic for us not to pack the stadium. I know we sold our allotment, though.

There aren't 75,000 UNC or USCe fans (or just interested spectators) within 30 miles of Charlotte that would pay to see their team play a game against a solid team without having to travel?

This was my thoughts. Perhaps don't ask a basketball school coming off a horrible football year to a neutral site football game, especially with prices that high.

It will be 3:1 USC to UNC. The nose bleed tickets were $76 per ticket, and the lower deck tickets started at $96 and went up to $225.

I am going and know a lot of people going. I think they sold some corporate tickets, so hopefully some Gamecocks picked those up.

Obviously not for 100 bucks at 6pm on a Thursday.

The price, time and day of the week are preventing a lot of people from traveling which is the bigger issue.

For the record, USC sold their allotment of 12.5K tickets and asked for more....
