What 5* wouldn't pounce on the chance to play for tMilkmen?

Shouldn't have to pay cult members.

That's what I was thinking. Just because they are more proficient at it does not necessarily mean they are cheating.

Maybe I am missing something?

Texas NIL law states:
No individual, corporate entity, or other organization may:
enter into any arrangement with a prospective student athlete relating to the prospective student athlete’s name, image, or likeness prior to their enrollment in an institution of higher education; or
use inducements of future name, image, and likeness compensation arrangement to recruit a prospective student athlete to any institution of higher education.

You can have an NIL program for current players, and recruits can look at that as what they might get. You still cannot pay recruits in Texas, nor can you offer them money to sign. That’s what they did that was illegal.

UT has a program that pays each player 100k per year and another that pays OL 50k per year. It’s public, any recruit can look at that and determine that an OL will get paid 600k over 4 years plus any other deals they can make.

Offering money and making LLCs for individual recruits and calling it NIL is just dropping bags. Paying current players = legal, buying recruits = illegal. This thing going to get out of control real fast, different states, different laws. But in Texas where Aggies live, buying recruits is still illegal.

Guess it’s only illegal in a Texas if someone decides to do something about it. Highly unlikely.

using NIL illegally

I really don't know. What could be illegal? I thought NIL basically made paid to play legal?

Not for anything they can legally call NIL at least. I don't think it was a coincidence that we outflanked them from the legal side of things.

I truly just don't believe that the powers that be are gonna let aNm get away with this either. If they do it'll be a tremendous departure from the norm in college sports. They've been knee capped every time they've tried to step out of Texas's shadow; I don't expect this time to be any different.

Do Texas alums still control the politics in Texas? If so maybe there will be an accounting after all

aTm knows they cheated. And they don’t care. And they shouldn’t. It’s just too bad for them they have to waste this class on Jimbo.

I hate picking on schools when they do well in something. Let’s laugh more at Auburn instead.

Don’t know which is worse. AU is in deep dodo for sure but there is just something about Kelly grinding on that kid that makes our skin crawl.

It's not like it used to be. It's not so much A&M, it's everyone else. They finally bought a law school a couple years back though.

Did y’all do this shite when Kirby signed his first really amazing class?

Or when Saban went 7-6 and lost to ULM in first year at bama, then signed the #1 class a few months later?

Most people knew they were cheating. Bama hadn’t won it all in over a decade but weren’t desperate for attention. UGA was cheating under the huge Bama shadow and I dont recall them celebrating their recruiting national championship. It had been a while but at least they won it all since face masks were invented.

Aggie is screaming from the mountain tops. “LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!” While making cups and trophies and shite proclaiming themselves recruiting champions. Go win something then talk shite, otherwise STFU. Prove you belong in the conversation and people will start taking you seriously. Finishing :500 in the SECw doesn’t move the needle.

You out cheated the best this cycle, quit pretending that you out smarted everyone with an amazing, cutting edge Secret NIL program. If Auburn can buy an MNC why not Aggies? Just fricking own it, you will get more respect.

Personally I think you are scared of Texas or maybe OU, maybe both the way you cried about them coming to the SEC. You would be an idiot not to take 2 more helmet programs in the league. USC, OSU, Michigan or Notre Dame would be welcomed if any wanted to come, just makes the conference that much better.
