Once UK fires Pope, I'm afraid they're gonna steal Todd!

Golden will not leave Florida.

What team has won more national championships than Florida in basketball since 2000?

I think he's gone to the NBA within 2-3 years.

NBA is the only way Golden leaves Florida. You can win anywhere and Kentucky no longer has that appeal. Like it or not, expectations are still lower at Florida because football will always be king at UF

College is a better gig.

With portal, Golden can bring in top level free agents every year.

We're never gonna pay for basketball what other schools like UK will though.

I think UConn but they have Hurley who’s basically on the same level, just been at his program longer

But it wouldn’t shock me if the UAA paid Kentucky golden’s buyout to let them hire him away from us

I know the are furious that he has added excitement and expectations to the Florida fanbase and they really wish they can hire back Mike white or possibly even mark pope

That would be a mistake KY fans and boosters have unrealistic expectations. They would fire him within two years if he doesn't win a nc because much like a ghetto whore on welfare they think they deserve it.

We spend more than enough for him though for his type of roster construction, and it’s only going to increase after this year. The buy in is real and money is flowing.

Y’all are so hyperbolic.

For OP, if Golden is winning I’m sure he’s tolerable but I could only imagine how hard he’d crash in Lexington if he wasn’t. That shite would get old real quick.

I'm not sure who I want us to hire at this point. Pope is going to be given next season, which is bullshite, but it's going to happen, so whatever.

I don't see Golden leaving Florida, whether we are interested in him, or someone else is. Seems like he's either staying in Gainesville or goes to the NBA. I'm not sure he'd be a great fit here either.

I'm just glad this horseshite season is 2 games away from being over and I can move on completely to baseball season. Tired of wasting my time watching this lazy arse bullshite masquerading as Kentucky basketball.
