A- is extremely generous for a soon to be 5 loss team.

Sure - winning the SEC West in year 1 after 5-5 and 6-7 seasons and a roster lacking depth sucks.

Special Ed was pulling in top 10 classes on his way out. Don't pretend LSU was without talent. They were not and that is why Kelly took the job in the first place. Hell, Houston Dale Nutt won like crazy with Ed O's recruits. Kelly lost to FSU and Texas A&M.

They should’ve threw the whole damn bank at Fickell, if he took Wisconsin, why wouldn’t he Notre Dame, with all due respect to the Badgers.

God must be unhappy with mojo_eraser, that’s the only way to explain it.

So winning the division is no big deal, huh?

It's really not.

Especially when you consider it didn't happen because LSU rose to that level, but rather the rest of the division was down.

Now I know the offices are in Birmingham and that the fragile LSU can’t handle this hence all the crazy conspiracy theories, but the SEC says Alabama won the west this year along with LSU.

Ya'll should get you one of these:

How was the rest of the division any more "down" than last season?

Because it use to be the hardest division in college football. And this past year, the so called 'division champ' got blown out by a 7 loss team.

It's basically no different than when Missouri won the East all those years when Florida and Georgia was shite.

Of course, as usual LSU fans are delusional and think they've accomplished great things.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Ed Orgeron left 35 scholarship players, by my count, and about half of those were class of 2021.

Orgeron recruited 20 players to keep 10, and not by design.

That isn't proof that the division is "down."

I would argue that there's more parity in the division than there's been in awhile.

Meh, I don't think winning the West was a "great accomplishment."

It was definitely an overachievment for this team though.

You're right, the SEC West was still the toughest division in football again this year. And a 4 loss team who got blown out multiple times winning the west doesn't mean anything.

Real facts: There are only 2 genders and the west division sucks this year, highlighted by the fact LSU won it. You can identify the West division as being strong this year all you want, but it's bullshite.

If you need someone to point out to you why the West was down this year, you're a fricking idiot.

So the SEC West wasn't the strongest division in college football until this year?

Napier catching flack for inheriting a program in shambles, built by the biggest coaching fraud in CFB history is a bit of a problem for me.

Say it again. Ppl on here said we should’ve kept Mullen. The dude who let Samford drop 50 points on our home field and the celebrated like a dickhead after bc we won the game.

Anybody else find it astonishing that Lincoln Riley is still recruiting like shite on the OL/DL? They have Braylon Shelby who is #76 nationally, but he is a 235lb edge. Beyond that, they have no OL/DL inside the top 240. Most of their OL are low rated 3 stars. No real transfers in the trenches either.

Always has and will be Riley’s problem. He’s a shite recruiter outside skill players and QBs. I wouldn’t call him a terrible coach but he has glaring weaknesses.

His team’s are routinely out-physically played at least once every single year by lesser talent. He’s not built for long term success. Guarantee he jumps ship for a shot at the NFL in 4 years or less.

I understand you're getting angry and resorting to namecalling but please point out what factor means the SEC is "down."

Thank you.
