Man if Old Mrs doesn't wipe the floor with their side of the bracket something is wrong with them

They are the only team with a CWS title to their name on that side. Meanwhile the other side of the bracket features 9.

they really need to reseed once the 8 teams are set.

West Virginia is a salty group of crazy bastards. Don't sleep on their ability to knock the ball around the entire ballpark.

North Carolina is my pick to come out of that bracket to face either UGA or Texas.

They need to just set the seeds after the regionals are done going into the supers.

Would've been.....

1. Georgia vs St John's
8. Kansas vs West Virginia

4. Texas vs. Troy
5. Alabama vs. USC

2. Auburn vs Little Rock
7. Miss State vs. Oklahoma

3. North Carolina vs. Cal Poly
6. Oregon vs. Ole Miss

They were playing Cal Poly. They didn't exactly eviscerate Kentucky

Personally, I would be pretty surprised if the national champion isn’t one of Georgia or Texas.

What does this have to do with anything for these current teams?

UNC is really good not sure why anyone thinks that's an easy draw

They are not an easy draw but they are the only team in your bracket that is a threat to you meanwhile on the other side of the bracket UNC would probably be the 3rd best team.

I'm sure the Sooners would trade with you if you want

They’re one of the quietest Top 5 teams I can remember relative to how much attention UCLA, GT, and UGA got this year. I think they actually won the series against GT in the regular season.

I think they’re 50-12 and somehow under the radar, weird deal.

I don’t hate West Virginia’s chances on that side either, TBH. I think they’re also better than a lot of people realize.

That said, also entirely possible OM just cruises to the finals like a lot of State fans are convinced they will.

Troy could MAYBE win one game off somebody, but they’re the one I really have a hard time envisioning getting to the finals.

back before super regionals, teams weren't seeded until they got to Omaha. They picked regional sites, seeded teams within those regionals, but the Omaha brackets weren't set until after the regionals.

Right and I think the easiest fix is to apply the same logic just lock the seeds in after the regionals again just this time you pick 1-16 instead of 1-8.

Ole Miss would've played at Starkville in an Egg Bowl super had they reseeded. Thankfully they don't as it makes no sense to do so.

I could see reseeding Omaha though.

This is baseball. Anything can happen, especially in college baseball postseason. Average teams get hot and can beat anyone, great teams go cold. It's why it is great.

3 years without a CWS appearance. It's the 2nd longest streak in Texas history. Texas calls this a "drought."

Think about that.

UGA, Texas, and UNC are the betting favorites to win it all. They are all sitting right around +300.

The 4th best team with odds comes in at +650.

It's pretty clear those 3 teams are the favorites to win it all.

The only reason UNC's odds are that high is because they really only have to worry about Ole Miss to make the finals. Georgia and Texas would have better odds if you flipped them with UNC and UNC's odds would drop.
