So Outkick the Coverage found this $250K within the past 24 hours, but the NCAA didn't find evidence of it in 4 years? Seems reasonable.

I'm not saying Nkemdiche didn't get some money. I'm certain he got some cash during his 3 years on campus, but there is no evidence of it to date.

If OM paid him 250k, how much do you think Clemson offered to have him commit and show so much interest?

Lest we forget, Ole Miss was prepared to offer Nkemdiche's father a job in the medical school back in 2012:

There's not that much money in the entire state of Mississippi.

+1
Wait till "Sports By Brooks" drops his scoop on this shite. And Danny Sheridan's got to get his $.02 in as well.

ATPB all over again...oh happy days.

Why is it arrogance? It is a Clay Travis flunky Gump that says they heard somewhere. What stellar journalism.

were those players even that good? lol what was the payoff for Ole Miss.

Dabo called the younger one a momma's boy when he decided to go to Ole Miss instead of CLemson, b/c his momma wanted him to go to Ole Miss.

Or maybe he didn't wanna go to a school that still worships a guy who lynched people?

Didn't happen. Check your sources. Lots of shite going down but at least keep it to the facts. Richard's son was a walk on at Ole Miss. Richard is head of research at UMMC. The dad was highly qualified for the research position but the whole recruiting thing came up. Both agreed it didn't look good. They mutually agreed it wouldn't work.

My bad. I'll rephrase so my facts are correct.

This recruitment appeared off from the beginning since the head of emergency medicine at UMMC, who just so happens to have a son on the Ole Miss football team, discussed hiring the father of the nation's number one high school recruit for a research position at the time when his son was being recruited to Ole Miss.

It was investigated by the MS legislature, and Somny, whether qualified or not, doesn't appear to have had any interest in moving to Mississippi to accept a position before the time of his son's recruitment. Given that he had another son who wasn't as highly recruited sign with Ole Miss the previous year, but the job discussions and moving to MS talks didn't begin until the following year when his much more highly rated son was being recruited, it appears perfectly reasonable.

Nothing happened there.

The Jackson Heart Study is the largest since the Framingham study from years ago. My understanding is that Robert's dad is an FMG and was not able practice medicine here but was a good researcher in the area that include demographics/disparities in the area the JHS was looking at. Actually, it was probably a pretty good fit but football got in the way.
