Did he walk-on that damn day? I bet Stricklin has current GPA of every player on the roster including the walk-ons

And el oh fricking el at the D Rose/Memphis comparisons.

It was a walkon who never played until late ijn the year due to injuries and the razor thin depth Nutt left us.

Do you State idiots seriously think Freeze wouldve played a walkon if he knew he was ineligible?

Say what you want about Freeze, he isn't dumb.

Do you not find it at all concerning that the athletic dept didn't know the academic standing of one of the athletes? LOIC.

According to the CL's article:

Davis, an unrecruited walkon who joined the team in August, played in six games...after the ACT notified him in August it was reviewing two of his test scores. He did not tell Ole Miss, and an attorney hired by his mother did not sufficiently respond to the testing center’s requests. In July 2012 the NCAA Eligibility Center cleared him, and he met the minimum admission standards to attend Ole Miss.

Well good for him he didn't tell Ole Miss. I wouldn't have brought it to their attention either the fricking school is responsible for having the eligibility requirements on file before that kid ever took the field.

Motherfrickers better not spoil anything on Game of Thrones. I'm barely halfway through the second book and haven't watched any of the show.

"In July 2012 the NCAA Eligibility Center cleared him"

That would seem to qualify as "having the eligibility requirements on file."

Funny thing, before I started reading the books, I got spoiled on what happened to Ned. I wasn't very happy.
I didn't get on the internet for a few days after the end of this past season of GoT. Belle advised me to stay away for a few days.

So literally no team since USC's Reggie Bush scandal has been a legitimate threat?

If Auburn and Oregon can get away with what they did (hell, State too), then it's open season in college football.

The score required to get into school isn't the same as the score needed for SEC eligibility.

It really is. Now is definitely the time to cheat. They aren't punishing anyone because they're too scared of what effect it will have on the insane amount of money they're making.
