I don't know it's too early to say that, I do know LSU will struggle next year even if you do well in the portal due to the amount of offensive lineman you have to replace, you will be competing with just as many big time schools for top o linemen even if you pay top $... that will also affect your ability to get a QB and RB.. specifically Lacey and Chambliss if he gets his waiver.
I do appreciate what he did I understand why he took the LSU job and if you are patient I think he can do great things there... however how he left ...acting like a spoiled brat demanding he be allowed to coach during the playoffs and threatening to raid our roster and not allow the coaching staff to coach was unacceptable and unprofessional ...if he had been honest and gracious it would have gone down different.. again LSU is a great job. a top 5 job IMO..but he didn't have to act like a prick...good luck...

It will be deeply ironic if this Ole Miss team goes on to win the title and Lane never manages it at LSU.

They are relevant because the transfer portal. Kiffen is average at best as a coach. They won without him and the same talent to a team he couldn't beat.
