re: Swinging Mike Hat

The ones from Bengals and Bandits are on ahead hats which are great but the off brand tiger logo and the giant elevated rubber patch was very over the top. I passed.

Still waiting for the official one to come to retail.

People early in the season said "this guy just looks good in a uniform" and I never even saw that. He looked tiny. His swing was also hideous. He was basically a less effective and less aesthetically pleasing Zach Arnold. Down to the stirrups, red hair, and ugly swings.

This is hilarious to read after you called him the best 3rd baseman in the portal and claimed Jay upgraded the position overall. LOL

If they are playing music on the course they are a guaranteed high handicapper and hit from the kids tees.
Well at least fox put it away so Sam’s miss on 18 didn’t mean much. Still a very boring/unclutch final round for Sam. Just felt like he played not to lose most of the day. Even when he was losing.
Wow doesn’t even reach the hole on that putt. Not clutch
They both attended LSU but Jay was the one on the LSU golf team.
Scottie’s answer during his interview today shows how it’s done as a professional during a tournament. Rory’s comments were just as theatrical as Bryson was yesterday. They both love the attention.
Crews with a double in the 9th. Nationals holding a narrow lead 20-2

The rule applies for unintentionally improving your lie. So whether he did it on purpose or not is irrelevant to the ruling. I’m ok with it as long as they are going to enforce it on the rest of the field.

But there is zero proof it helped him. It’s just a gut feeling ruling. It’s a “we think this helped you” type of ruling. May as well be women’s gymnastic judges after this.

It for sure looks bad. I don’t even know if he actually needed to do it based on his practice swings. Also wild they can make the ruling but not know 100% he improved anything for his backswing. They are just assuming he did based on the video but don’t have the angle to tell if it actually helped him. But will sure make the next few rounds more entertaining. Geaux Sam!

A lot of posters on this site said LSU would rely on the incoming freshman and returning players and only dabble in the portal. Good times.

did not play much but in his 30 plate appearances as a freshman he went .247 with two HRs.

You sure that’s accurate? Because OU website says otherwise.

quote:

he appeared in 30 games and made 24 starts, primarily in right field, then lost his starting role before the Sooners' postseason turnaround, which ultimately pushed him into the portal. He hit .247 with two home runs, 18 RBI and 11 runs in 93 at-bats. It's unknown if Blair will again try to play two sports at his next stop.

you'd like to think Jay and company did their homework before offering this guy after leaving a team with a month to go in the season

Let’s hope their evaluation is better than the majority of last years portal evaluations.
I can’t believe “the best 3rd baseman in the portal,” didn’t work out. Wild
