Yikes. Reminds me of certain Sooner posters here trying to justify Joe Mixon shattering a girls jaw with a sucker punch.

Well, he pressed her face against the wall. Might as well press charges too.

This is an exemplary post of what we expect here on the rant.
Well done.

WOW. Glad to see Lane taking a stand against beating a woman.

Dude is probably done, he had a pretty bad DUI arrest earlier this summer.

I know the player, he played high school just down the road. Never would have guessed he would have been an issue.

Hopefully he can land on his feet and finish school at least.

Dude can’t uno reverse and press charges in a domestic violence situation lol. They typically determine a primary aggressor and that’s who ends up being charged.

Mississippi is a castle doctrine state, so it would be a question was the force of his self defense reasonable? Did he just shove her away if she came at w a knife or throwing objects, or did he pile drive her, followed up the peoples elbow, and do the leg drop for good measure? Time will tell, but if Jeffery Simmons could play, then hard to imagine ZH being told to go kick rocks unless the evidence is exceptionally egregious

The problem is that these should have NCAA/Conference standards not up to any coach’s discretion. If we let him go, he’s playing for Arkansas or State next week. In the NFL, the league determines punishment, that’s the way it should be in D-1 football.

No, but he could recommend a good attorney to handle his case.

For most of us folks:

We'll probably never be millionaires, and we don't have much desire to be a felon.

For some others:

They're within a snap of the finger of being either.

Must be nice.

Castle Doctrine applies to an intruder in your home. It is not a stand your ground law.

And he was also charged with resisting arrest.

Who cares? All of our teams get players from the ghetto, and a lot of them are going to commit crimes.
This is how it's always been and always will be.

People at Ole Miss are freaking out over this arrest. At UGA that was what they call Monday (finding who got arrested over the weekend).
