I'm beginning to think that Kiffin smashed your mom or sister.

Do you have a list of the "haul"?

1 5 star, 7 4 star.

A little lower on overall score, but a tiny bit higher average player ranking.

The point is, until you see them all on the field together, you don't really know how good of a team you've got.

I guess people have forgotten T@M and their mercenaries.
OM better hope LK can hold the lockerroom together nore
than JF did.All it takes is 1 cancer to kill the whole body.

It’s wild how we have had these same threads for three years now because LSU fans lack the mental capacity to remember Lane living in the portal every year since he’s been here.

You're still being pretty vague. Who were the players, Where'd they come from, what position did they play?

You mean their recruits? A&M recruited very well. Jimbo Fisher was just a bafoon and failed at practically all areas of being a Head Coach at A&M. Kiffin has proven he can take on new players and merge them into the team quickly.

I'd like to know how many more of these brain-dead clowns the coonasses have left in their bullpen. Are they recruiting these fools, or is the state just full of them?

Kiffin- :goes 11-2 at Ole Miss, wins NY6 bowl: LSU fans- Kiffin is overrated. He will never win anything of substance

Brian Kelly: goes 9-3 with a Heisman QB at LSU, has never won anything of substance anywhere. LSU fans “Kelly is taking no prisoners right now, dominating recruiting and changing the staff. He will definitely win a championship at LSU”

they have Austin Thomas leading it and they are middle of the pack fund wise, not much different than LSU and UF and not at the level of UT, A&M, UGA but they have a philosophy... they are going to spend it on the portal period on big time players they deem can help them for next year.

and fact of the matter is Ole Miss is all in for next year. they have a very favorable schedule, a really good coach that can scheme against anyone, not named saban, in a 1 game situation and with the playoffs going to 12 teams...they fell its their time.

i agree with their approach and really hope we take Austin Thomas back from them to do the same for us.

i just think they are being smart AF with their funds. LSU got much smarter this year but not really in the portal.

TLDR: OM has best philosophy for a school like them to have a shot!

to be fair...BK has won ships before at lower level and LSU has a history of winning ships unlike OM.

i do think Kiffin is a great coach though and his philosophy on NIL is killer imo.

Can't speak to Colorado but you are just flat out wrong about the transfers A&M is bringing in. I certainly won't say it is better than what Kiffin is bringing in but we certainly aren't filling up on FCS bottom dweller players

First I've seen his name come up as well. He is "Chief of Staff" for OM. Likely identifies portal players to target

Tons of incoming SEC 4 and 5 star players.

Not really. They aren't THAT good.

A five star with barely average college stats who has done nothing to deserve five stars as a transfer except be a five star out of HS. Not even second team All-SEC.

A four star CB who absolutely should not be a four star. We know, he was on our team and had zero interceptions. Not even second team All-SEC.

And three more four stars who may be good. I don't know them. Started for SEC teams. But only one made second team-all-SEC, the rest did not.

Rest are three stars. While they could turn out productive, all of our three stars could, too.

I just don't like the overrated portal hype like the OP wrote. They didn't bring in the best players in the SEC, much less the best players in the country.

Not to mention the players they lost to the portal. Those should be subtracted from all portal rankings.

Still, with their returning starters and new players, OM should be better than 2023, and they won 11 games. They are already good, so they don't need that much help.

5 star players does not equal a 5 star team.
