players are going to be distracted and
Lane’s departs will overshadow the game.

Lane knows exactly what he is getting in to at Auburn. He is too detailed of a man and has too many contacts both college and pro not to make a bad move with his career.
The GUMPS thought he was the next in succession and will now deflect.
Say what you want, if he comes to Auburn he is not shying away from playing LSU, Georgia and Bama every year and welcomes the challenge with what Auburn has to offer especially with the new 91.9 M football performance center ( Apple top technology).
Auburn BOT has learned their lesson. Lane will have free reign as with Bruce. Add in Butch Thompson and the baseball program, Cohen... Auburn is stout.
Kirby, Dabo, Nick will not longer be able to negatively recruit against Auburn using Gus, Harsin and BOT disruption.
These times they are a changing. I hope he is on the sidelines in T-town with Caddy just to piss those toothless bastards off!

I don’t think so either. He can torture Alabama fine at Auburn. He knows the best thing for his career is to disrupt and get rid of Saban. Once that’s done, everything should return to “normal”.
