I think the problem with them being real isn't that it's a 305 dollar benefit or whatever. It's the indication that there was a structured and recurring payment taking place since the amounts "kept changing".

The story within the story here is all that really matters. This latest news from OM officials is that apparently they did NOT know about that twitter conversation between Tunsil and the athletic dept. person. Per their own words they are now investigating for possible alterations of the published screen shots. All the talking head experts from ESPN, Finebaum, etc., have been saying that if the Tunsil revelations episode from couple months ago are new items, then look out Nellie.

You've been fricked since Tunsil showed up at the draft with truth serum and a bong gas mask.

When we do get the hammer I will provide a proper melt thread as long as you provide a consolation thread.

True...when the Ole Miss fan draft occurs later, you should be a first round pick by the LSU peeps...

Well I've pulled for Ole Miss when we've sucked, been semi good and I'll pull for Ole Miss as a doormat after being burned to the ground by the NCAA. Why couldnt I be raised a damn Alabama or LSU fan?

but I think he and Freeze will be turning in their school provided equipment together. If this continues in the logical direction, Freeze is gone and will be doing well to coach at a mid-major in the next 10 years.

It looks like someone wants to keep potential questions direct and under seal.

quote:

The lawyers of Ole Miss HC Hugh Freeze have petitioned for restrictions to be placed on any testimony given by the coach in a lawsuit involving former T Laremy Tunsil.

And with that, Ole Miss truther ears just perked up. Tunsil is being sued by his stepfather, Lindsey Miller, whose lawyers believe that testimony by Freeze could be pivotal in the case. Freeze's representation is fighting this. Daniel Paulling of the Clarion-Ledger wrote that the head coach's attorneys "have asked that the deposition be conducted through written questions, would only relate to Freeze’s conversations with Tunsil regarding an altercation between Tunsil and Miller last summer, would only have parties and counsel related to the case in attendance and would be sealed pending court order." Given the NCAA investigation into Ole Miss, that last point regarding a seal on the testimony is interesting, to say the least.

I really don't think it will turn out like what most on this board think. I think it will be less than what USC got.
