Don't know why Ole Miss wouldn't go after Pitino?
Because he’ll be the coach at St. John’s next year.

Yeah it is. I think Wade would do well there but he’s on the list because nobody else wants to touch him and it would be a steal. Wade could turn it into a good job if you give him about 10 years but it’s not right now.

Wade might be a candidate for the Georgetown job. It's a more prestigious program than Ole Miss or LSU and in an area where he has a lot of recruiting ties.

He would kill it at Georgetown, they’d be a perennial tourney team. Fans are hungry for success too since they’ve been bad for so long.

OM should have kept Kennedy. He has done well at UAB

This. Let the firings of AK and Stansbury be a lesson to both programs that, no matter how frustrated you may be by NIT trips or life on the perennial bubble, there is an absolute abyss beneath your feet.

Kennedy is a cool dude. We were always competitive under him. It’s a shame we let him go.

AK wanted out as much as we wanted him out. Both school and coach needed a fresh start. I’m happy AK is doing well at UAB.

there also is Frank Martin syndrome where you have one good year and you keep a coach for far too long.
Sometimes moving on is good for both parties and the success they have elsewhere doesnt mean it would have happened with your program

He’s a proven very good coach. It would be huge if you could land him.
texas shouldn’t have fired him for a spat with his chick. She must not have a problem with him or she would have left him long ago.

I always liked Pitino and no doubt he’s a great coach. I’ll watch some Iona games when I can catch them on account of him. He’d be a great short term solution.
