I don't see Quarterman coming back next year. This class coming in is extremely underrated and Skylar's probably the best one. So there's really no reason for him to stay.

He's a little taller than 6"3 for sure and he's got long arms. He'll be a starting 2 in the nba one day, imo but he won't be ready this year.
Gonna take them to the woodshed

At what point did we start to lose ground with Gary? We seemed to be hot and heavy on him and he seemed to have a lot of interest then it just seemed to lose steam. What gave way?

After we lost two games and alleva said Les was coaching for his job... alumni raised money for the buyout, etc. Intelligent people understand that this is not the way you do things.

That was really stupid because it let the rest of the world know that Les will probably be fired if he doesn't make the playoff next year, which means an entire new coaching staff. Plus coach O made it public that he was interested in the Syracuse job.

That all turned into a stupid mess orchestrated by an arguably stupid man- joe alleva. The Gary's just decided to say thanks but no thanks, and they're not going to fall for the LSU facade of stability again. At least in their minds, we can't assure that our coaching staff will be there for the next one year, let alone three.

IMO, Les has the team he wants in place with the depth he now has with this #1 class, and he's back to calling the shots again, even if he doesn't beat bama. I can't see us losing to anyone else next year.

Maybe he'd actually wants to coach the best athletes and get off a sinking ship. Its a promotion for him to be honest. Better recruits, facilities and situation. It's a no brainer IMO.

You should change your screen name to Ronald McDonald... or Crusty, something like that

Yeah, he'll be a #1 option in the nfl one day. Speed be damned, Damonte can flat out go get it.
Fowler is probably the best lb in the country. That's my #1.

They set that up all day and clemson coaches didn't even notice the crazy splits. Still got it done tho. And OJ was always an animal- just had too many drops and missed assignments for them to ever have complete confidence in him. But if he's left wide open...

Congrats bama

You got the win. Credit where credit is due and all that. But I've never seen a team dominate a game but collapse so epicly on special teams in the fourth the way clemson did. Forget the blown coverages... They looked like tenn with the game on the line and Sweeney looked pretty damn silly at the end of both quarters. Fun to watch though Kinda hated to see Watson's performance wasted. Dabo is definitely the second most loved coach in alabama today.
He done alabama proud, but in the end- and most importantly- he did not win the game!

Jones is such a joke. He gets the talent but wtfdoes he do with it?

Sampson is the best shooter on this team and blakeney jacks up shots.

This

Very upsetting loss

...to say the least. To put it in perspective, we are young at critical positions. Interior o-line and qb. It's very difficult to win in this league when you're inexperienced at those positions. Vadal is not a tackle and Hawk is just soft. Losing Moore and Gordon really hurt. Bama and arky do what we do. Of course they were prepared. People need to stop blaming coaches- we are not a deep team. Bottom line is we need to finish.

Without Fournette you would be very average. Honestly.

You're not getting it... it's not about Fournette.
If bama wins, they will have played their BEST game in the last 4 years. This LSU team will not give away this game at any point. Bama will need to play their absolute best all night to win that game, Coker included. If that happens, you simply have to tip your hat to them because it certainly hasn't happened at all this season. LSU will look like tenn on Grier juice, and we all saw how that game played out.
Florida has a loss just like bama does. No way they should be ahead of bama especially with their quarterback situation. This time of year is about momentum and bama definitely has that.

TCU has NO defense, Baylor just lost a Heisman candidate QB for the season and will now be starting a freshman, and Mich St. was just gifted a win in their last game by a well coached but pretty pedestrian UM team. These circumstances are all momentum killers.

If Any of these average arse unproven teams want to get in over the program that's won more than anyone in the last five years they're going to have to earn it. There's no media slant AT ALL, imo- Bama is correctly ranked... as of now.
