Time to see if the refs protect the brand OR embrace a new era.

*spoiler, the Brand is safe.

Nah, i think the boys have a much better shot now. Tough to beat the same team twice.

Why would we melt? We were predicted to come in like 10th place in the conference.

Lol you guys have been trying so hard to figure out how you lost the first game. I don't think your coaches even know. Bama better hope they figure it out or I fear for the safety of your wives/sisters.

Oklahoma is going to get their Welcome to the SEC moment on 12/19

A year late I think, 2024 pretty much showed Sooner fans what it is and somehow Oklahoma still managed to wreck bama's season.

As for this year's rematch, it could go either way but don't expect to hear me crying if Alabama wins since Venables got the team to 10 wins when everyone said the ceiling was six.

Go Sooners!

OU broke Ty in half and crippled that entire offense in the first game. They have been getting worked over ever since. They won’t have a single rushing yard against OU in Norman.

I also think Bama wins but OU is a legit team. I think it'll be a close game.

Yes, it will be a close game, just as the betting lines predict.

I'm hoping the home field advantage will be exactly what's needed to get Oklahoma across the finish line.

Not really, the Sooners have always excelled at getting stomped in the post-season.

Not to mention Bama is more banged up from their last game against Georgia.
Jayden Jackson and R Mason Thomas didn't play that first game, hopefully they will play this one, the DL will be better. If anyone paid attention to that first Bama game, it was probably the best coached game from Venables all year. He knew the only way he was getting consistent pressure was by disguised looks and blitzing (which he did more of than any other game). Because of that Bama made plays in the passing game, but also the QB made mistakes. OU should get pressure with the front four on this game.

Jayden Jackson played like eleven snaps. He was pretty limited but he did play.

Yeah, he registered no stats. When healthy he averaged 30-40 snaps and is a linchpin against the run. I'm looking forward to the DL having its healthy 6-8 man rotation.
