This BS talking point is pathetically tired and ignorant.

No one "runs away" to the toughest division in college athletics.

And as already stated, if you believe this then you must ask why tu is running away from TCU and Kansas.

Why would texsa do that either?

1)They would be able to control thr Big 12 revenue wise.

2) ego

Does this happen without tu?

I fully expect them to make themselves persona non grata before the move takes place

Maybe OU can get 8&forfiet cheat quit and whine to switch conference with you. Would positively love OU to join and bring another team with them though

No one else in college sports has the same kind of institutionalized cowardice that Aggie does. Does it make sense that you ran away from Wake Forest? Nope, but you did it anyways.

Additionally, does anyone bring up that Mizzou "ran away" from the Big 12? No? Because we know they weren't. Same situation applies to Texas leaving the Big 12.

Like y'all broke asses could afford an early exit anyway.

Both Texas A&M and Missouri did manage to get it done!

From a revenue perspective, the BIG 12 has a grim future. I'm not buying that texsa would want to be the big fish in a draining pond of declining revenue and diminishing league prestige. They may be a lot of things, but hanging out in an AAC conference with a bunch of nobodies, with a shitty TV contract, just so they can be the big dog, isn't one of them.

I thought UCF and friends were scheduled for 2023? How are the schedules from 2023-2025 supposed to work out? I would take this with a grain on salt.

Great news. I didn't want them potentially mucking up A&M's 2024 schedule anyway:

I know the sips were incredibly surprised that we whooped them in the CWS - a few of my older tsip friends still cannot accept it days later. Combine that their ongoing mediocrity in everything football, and the strength of the SEC in all sports ...

Their hesitation isn't in the least surprising. They want to say they are SEC for recruiting but not play an SEC schedule.
