Is this going to still happen every year or did y'all Texas A&M the state rival?

Okie State is cool. Gundy isn't a bitch. No way they go all whiney longhorn and refuse to play OU IMO.

Most Sooner fans want to keep the game, but OSU was pretty butthurt about OU leaving the Big XII and their admin has been pretty vocal about wanting to stop the series. Personally I hope they keep it going, but so far they haven't called for my opinion.

Arkansas plays OkSt in 2024. That's a series with some history that needs to start up again. I'd be ok if they were our annual p5 OOC game.

You guys will win. Gundy can’t recruit. He pads his stats playing in the Big 12.

It would only hurt okst to stop the series.

No shite. That’s why he’s already on record saying OU canceled. He lobbied for it. That’s year old news tho.

I’d rather our P5 opponent not be a permanent matchup. I like getting new interesting matchups with various schools.

OU should play Okie-State and Mizzou should play KU annually though imo.

Have you read the number of threads from Georgia fans saying that a Haynes King let GT team with no talent around him is better than half the SEC? OU won’t play OSU going forward bc they might lose that game if we use Dawg logic so it would compromise adding another P5 to their schedule.

It’s over Gundy doesn’t want to play theh say their schedule is full …. We will continue to play them in all sports except football? Why because they are pussies.

Texas' AD literally asked to play in 2018 and y'all said your schedule was full with App State (L-O-L btw)

Revisionist history at its finest. Expected nothing less from a jealous aggie

Under Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State is 20-9 against non-Big XII power five teams. They're also 2-0 against Boise State in that same span.

If we go with the 9 game schedule (3/6), then it seems likely that OU and Missouri would be paired up for the final weekend. They could play that game, or they could work a deal with OSU and Kansas to play that weekend. It may start out that they play each other, then later do a deal with OSU and KU.

If we go with 8 games (1/7), I don't think that final weekend will be an option as there would have to be some kind of rotation involving Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas, to fill that final weekend slot, but they could play some other time (and Bedlam usually was not the last game).

I couldn't care less if OU never plays OSU again. Oklahoma leads the series 91–19–7 so I don't consider it that much of a rivalry.

After seeing OU’s schedule I hope we get on our knees to one day have a football schedule like that.

I’m still waiting for a sip post on here not being BS. Are you all narcissist?

Dodds not only would not continue playing us when we went to the SEC. He lobbied the other Texas schools to do the same.

Then yes, Texas came back many years later and we said no. No reason to after what Dodds did.
