I'm sure you have posted a bunch on the subject but do you think it just comes down to bad refs making a terrible call or do you believe there is something more to it?

I think the SEC offices inherently protect their golden goose, which is Bama by a mile, but it's not some conspiracy. Bama is the most important program in the SEC and they are treated accordingly.

ETA: I'm not saying they threw White out to help Bama. I just think White getting thrown out while Wilson didn't illustrates the favoritism.

Actually after watching not they aren’t the same hit and I’m more convinced In the White hit.

Mack open his arms and drives through the tackle while White has a slight launch. I just did a dual monitor look about 50 times and asked some people in the office. I’m not trying to be a homer I’m just telling you what I see. I only have 1 angle on the Mack hit as well. Like I said the biggest difference I see is White seems to have a slight launch and the hands.

Also something I noticed in the video. The ref who throws the initial flag is behind the hit. I know they are reviewing this but that could also factor in this. If you watch from his angle it actually looks worse.

There looked like there was helmet to helmet in Wilsons too. With his crown down

Shocker.

By the way, what you're "seeing" shows that you're a homer.

Your delusion is alarming.

Fact: DW is suspended for targeting, an act he committed, whether you admit it or not.
Fact: Alabama had nothing to do with it.
Fact: There is no SEC conspiracy against LSU.
Fact: Alabama fans are entertained by the normalized level of insanity and paranoia from LSU.
Suggestion: Seek counseling.

Have a nice day, friend.

I think that is reasonable. I also think subconsciously refs could be giving Bama the benefit of the doubt just because of how good they are when it comes to "close calls".

I just can't get behind a ref sitting there waiting for a questionable play and looking to throw out the LSU player in the 2nd half so that it effects the 1st half of the game in two weeks. Is it possible? Sure but I don't think so. I will agree that the fact it was reviewed makes it look about 100 times worse than just a ref making a terrible play while it is happening live. More than anything the rule needs to be addressed.

As has been proven wrong, multiple times.

I've literally never claimed either of these things.

Meanwhile, LSU fans are entertained by the blind homerism being portrayed by Bama fans.

Being objective means I need to seek counseling. Ok then.

I have LSU alum in my office and they see the differences. Would you like a video of them holding their degrees and saying it’s ok to be objective?

Of course there are slight differences, but they are extremely slight. Both make contact with the chest and incidental contact with the helmet. That's not the point though.

The point is neither was targeting as the rule is written, and claiming differently shows your bias. You're biased. It's ok to admit it to be honest.

I’m not seeing the launch though it’s a follow through from what I’m seeing but doesn’t matter I think we have sailed this ship far enough.

What I’m saying is I see two differences that lead me to believe a targeting call and not. Either way, we have a great game to look forward. Glad we had a reasonable conversation.

No you don't. What you see is an Alabama player and a LSU player initiating contact in the same way and you can't accept that neither, or both, should be targeting.

There's nothing in the White hit that falls under the rule of targeting.

Boudreaux and Thibadeaux have no value in this conversation.

The Louisiana Governor is certain what sportsball rule is being discussed.

In essence, no it hasn’t been disproven. Try Adrain, Sparky.

None of this has anything to do with what we're talking about.
