Hate toburst your bubble. Missouri should take care of business this weekend.

Simply put. You still have to win games.

12 is too high for the team we saw play SC

My only issue with all of this is Bama and OSU basically have the exact same resume and OSU's is probably better
You lost your starting quarterback for the season and in the first game without him you get beat by a USC team with the 56th ranked defense in the nation, and the 85th ranked pass defense in the nation and could only muster 18 points and a 55% completion %.
You should be thankful you're even ranked. No way it would be even close to logical to rank Alabama and Ohio St close to each other based on resume because all of the wins on the resume were when the starting QB played, and he's not going to play the rest of the season, and the game the backup did start, your offense was inept.

Maybe they should not have blown a 20 point 4th quarter lead to an Arch and Sark led offense.

frick OSU in the covid year their conference changed the rules for them to make their conference championship game and make the playoffs. These fricking iron belt bitches deserve every bad thing that happens to them.

I despise osu, but they really did get hosed.
Indiana schedules no one, is 7-1 and number 4.
Osu schedules Texas and lossses by a point in Austin and is 12.

Pretty sure they "really" lost to Texas. They played Texas AT OSU last season. Did Texas get screwed last year?
You schedule a game like that and win and you get advantages. You lose that game and you get penalized....the same with any other game.

I don't necessarily disagree that they are being punished for losses vs a good SoS. They should absolutely be ahead of ND and BYU IMO.
That said, if the new QB can show a strong performance and get the offense going and the D can show improvement to close out the year, they should be back above the cut line given some attrition ahead of them that will happen.

They pulled a “Texas” against Texas. Late game collapse, and made Arch look like a Heisman front runner in that 4th quarter.
They should be punished for that and probably will as Texas is likely to lose another game or two and miss the playoffs.

Doesn’t matter. I doubt they make the playoffs. That backup qb is terrible

I mean there has been no confirmation Sayin is out the rest of the year, there are 7-8 more weeks until the playoffs start.
Also, the offense in the red zone was inept but put up 460 yards and controlled the game. Did some terrible things in all 3 phases but when they say "game control" OSU had it.

Texas has a tough schedule coming up with @Missouri and @LSU. If Texas can stay focused, and come out like they did against Ole Miss they could win out, but tough games at the end of a season is not ideal with injuries, etc.

No they are being assessed for Losing to Ohio St week 2 and USC week 9.
When you have 2 losses and have only beaten #19 Iowa, #4 Indiana and you lost your starting qb for the season #12 is probably too high of a ranking.
Indiana has looked like crap all year. They should have lost to Nebraska who ran a 2nd half clinic on how to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Indiana is top 5 because it would invalidate the whole premise of Power 4 if the Big with 53 members couldn’t manage a top 5 team only 9 weeks into the season.
