USC scared them into giving Sumlin the raise. A&M fans know he's not worth it, but it's better than another coaching search.

Underpaid considering Tennessee is going to win the CFP this year.

It's shocking how so many mediocre coaches who haven't accomplished anything are making $3 million a year.

Sumlin will likely receive a raise soon.
And I don't see him exiting in the near future.

5 Coaches on that list with lower salaries that have made the SECCG.

4 Coaches on that list with lower salaries that have won the SECCG.

3 Coaches on that list with lower salaries that have made the National Championship Game.

2 Coaches on that list with lower salaries that have won the National Championship Game.

Texas A&M got one hell of a deal for Sumlin.

I think Spurrier heads back to Florida after this season.

*Back to a fancy retirement home in Florida.

Having a bidding war with USC that year was bad timing but the premium to overpay was worth it from a recruiting and fan support perspective.

Someone will collect $4 million for 2015 and finish last in the West.

He sure is worth it. He gave us our best season since 1956 and he only makes five million a year. The neighbors (Texas) pay their coach five million a year just to get to a bowl game. In our neighborhood we are getting a deal.

Heck that is quite frankly why we are poaching coaches from across the border. shite in that Louisiana neighborhood sometimes has Chinatown prices on it.

Your neighborhood had multiple NFL coaches living there and still couldn't get a win in your own gated community.
