Here are your official SECR Power Rankings at the conclusion of Week 3!

Voter Notes:

LOL @ South Carolina

Gave Georgia a work and still not sure how good they are

One of the worst offensive performances we've seen from the Dawgs in a handful of years, but winning on the road in the SEC isn't always easy. A much needed bye coming up before going on the road to play Alabama. Hopefully the offense can find something in the off week.

The Hogs played UAB, looked like crap but won. Next up is Auburn, going to be a sloppy game.

Won a cripple fight in the Swamp, we still suck

Hugh Freeze knelt in prayer and the football & escort gods delivered. Auburn now is looming force in the SEC behind their fearless backup QB Hank Brown. Ole Miss STILL hasn't allowed a touchdown in 2024, and the offense looks elite because of Jaxson Dart. We get our final tune-up game against Georgia Southern this week before SEC play, so I'm hoping we can extend our no-touchdown streak for one more week.

Alabama went on the road and blew out Wisconsin, 42-10. The offensive line was at full strength for the 1st time this season and it showed. Next up is a tough matchup against the Bye Week. #noarrests Couldn't have asked for a better first road trip of the year. Playcalling seemed to try and play to Milroe's strengths. Quicker reads, good route concepts, and increased designed runs for him. The RB1 and RB2 look tremendous. Williams is the best 17 year in football. All of that said, still a lot of question marks. Uga coming to town in 2 weeks will be the first litmus test. They are built for a NC run. Tennessee looked great. I'll beleive the hype at Bama after they play those 2 games. Still, it was a great weekend in Camp Randall for the Tide. Great performance and win.

We improved. We won. We now move on to SEC play. Should get many key players back this week. Lots of emotions for coaches this week. Brent helped teach Josh when they both helped win our natty. Will be a great game atmosphere!

Welcome to the Marcel Reed Era. Please don't screw this up, Elko.

Lol, I expect nothing less...jolly good show!

Tbh, even the official rankings are pretty meaningless this early in the season, but wish they had left us at #2.

It's a power ranking, so it looks about right. I'd switch Bama and Texas though and move UK up a couple of spots.

Remember, this is a "power" ranking. I assume a lot of people felt the 42-10 drubbing of Wisconsin on the road outweighed the 56-7 win over UTSA at home. UGA dropped quite a bit with their Kentucky game.

Tenn with a #1 vote and Texas with a #4 vote with UGA/Bama splitting some 1st and 2nd spots was enough to shift. Remember, Texas had the most overall votes. It was a .07 average difference between the two.

AP Poll
#1 Texas 1540 (35)
#2 Georgia 1518 (23)
#4 Alabama 1358
#5 Ole Miss 1316
#6 Tennessee 1188
#7 Missouri

Coaches Poll
#1 UGA 1358 (42)
#2 Texas 1301 (10)
#4 Alabama 1193
#5 Ole Miss 1153
#7 Tennessee
#8 Missouri

The ballot with Tennessee at #1
Tenn
Texas
Georgia
Alabama

They did two years ago, and this Florida team is probably worse.

Let's dismiss the SEC Champion. That will give us all a lot more time to discuss Ole Miss's big game with Georgia Southern. How many spring games have you guys scheduled?

On a side note it’s been 55 years since Mizzou has won a co-conference championship

They potentially have one of their worst teams ever in Starkville.

It’s really bad.

And Vandy is confusing me with their tactics. You beat Va Tech and drop one to GA ST?
