Ole Miss beat Charlotte 41-9 last week in what was mostly an offensive clinic for Trinidad and co. The defense still has some stuff to clean up, but we didn't play multiple starters who were nursing injuries. Now, LSU and Lane Kiffin come to town in what will be a civil and low-brow football game (lol). Every one of our players who didn't play against Charlotte will be available for this game, so I look forward to a fully healthy Ole Miss vs. fully healthy LSU team. God help us all.

Slow start; strong finish. Good win on the road vs an SEC opponent... period. QB1 is gaining experience and mental lapses and errors are part of that process. Defense looks very promising. Long road ahead and a lot of work to do if they want to stay competitive for a CFP spot. We will see what happens.

Bama avoided a scare at Kentucky after a less than inspiring first half. The second half, however, was perhaps one of the best halves of football we’ve played as a team under DeBoer. Elite defense and special teams, with an offense that finally began to click. We were finally able to RUN THE DAMN BALL. Revenge game against a flailing FSU program up next - a game that (on paper) shouldn’t be competitive.

Our team looked like a team that was looking ahead to next week. We have a big game in Oxford in week 3. But, it is still on the coaches to have their team prepared. Hopefully we see more of the week 1 LSU Tigers instead of the week 2 LSU Tigers.

Dawgs are dominant - only allowing garbage time points against backups & over 60 PPG - hard to take them down in a power ranking, despite weak early competition
