Ah playing the standard SEC “didn’t want to be there” card early.
But you accept the bowl money right?

Not a Bama fan. But before you made that statement, think about this. How many top notch Bama players will opt out vs. Kansas State? I think the question is rhetorical because Bama is going to have probably 10 guys ranked in the top 100 players, which means 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. How many does KSU have?

So Young, Will Anderson opt out, that is not the same Bama team that played during the season. Lets say Branch the Safety opts out (I think he was their best player on Defense this year performance wise), that is another guy who has 1st round potential that could go.

No offense to KSU, but after LSU finished 6-6 last year beating the Yell Leaders (Aggie), 4 of LSU's top NFL draft prospects opted out Cordale Flott CB (3rd round), T. Davis-Price RB (3rd round), Neal Farell DT (4th) and Damone Clark LB (5th).

Alabama has 8 of the top 100 NFL prospects based on CBS rankings, 4 rated 1st round. My prediction half those guys opt out.

kinda nervous about that Sugar Bowl man. Alabama used to be the Sugar Bowl gods until Saban got here for some reason. Now they just happen for lesser teams to be super motivated to play Alabama to the best of their ability.

Have a feeling this gonna end up like Utah or 2013 Oklahoma.

How hysterically embarrassing would it be for Saban and for the Alabama football program in general if after all of that nauseating posturing and politicking in an effort to talk their way into the number four slot, Bama is totally sleepwalking and gets hammered in the bowl game?

K-State is not going to take this game lightly.

Sad that the Sugar Bowl is being devalued so much when it used to be an honor to play in it.

Hopefully the NIL money will prevent players quitting in the future. That there will be a stipulation that you have to play in the bowl game to receive what is due to them. If they quit no money. Transfer portal should not open until after bowl season is complete.

But just my thoughts on it. If your team has a game to play, barring injury you should play in it. Otherwise, you are a quitter.

If someone came to me before the season and offered a scenario where VOLS go 10-2, beat both Alabama and Florida and get a spot in the Orange Bowl, I would’ve said yes with zero hesitation.

Yet here we are on December 4th and I have the most sour taste in my mouth with how that exact scenario played out :|

Because the Vol fanbase's expectations were unrealistic. If you have another 10-2 season before 2030, it'll be a miracle.

This is very true. It used to be a fun trip. Now it's just about survival, not speaking about just the game either.

You mean the same fanbase that literally thought 8-4/9-3 was best case scenario this annum?

How was this the first thing that rattled in your hollow head as a logical response to what I posted? Or is VoxDog just trying to be an edgy fig on the internet per usual?

Notre Dame has been offered Gator and Holiday and they have the decision.

If they choose Gator:
SC vs. ND in Gator
state vs Illinois in Reliaquest

If they choose Holiday
State vs UNC in Gator
sC vs Illinois in Reliaquest

You should have a good perspective on who is where since you got to study the field in depth yesterday from the comfort of your living room Bear Cave Shrine...

GTFOH with this nonsense.

Y'all went full-on A Beautiful Mind trying to work the calculus on what level of chaos would be required for the Vols to sneak into the most back of doors and still make the CFP. AND YOU BELIEVED IT COULD HAPPEN.

Your fanbase was the most insufferable band of counts in this millennium, and Tennessee did NOTHING to warrant the hype when faced with actual adversity on the field.

Congrats on elevating pseudo-entertaining homerism to new, delusional levels.
