Coach O is probably the next coach fired.

Mullen.

Half of the teams in the conference have first or second year coaches that will get at least 3 years or so to make their cases.

ETA: Or Orgeron. But I feel pretty confident it will be one of those two. Hopefully Mullen.

ETA2: Here are the coaches who have been in place more than one year:

Dan Mullen
Kirby Smart
Mark Stoops
Nick Saban
Ed Orgeron
Jimbo Fisher

Drinkowitz, Pittman, Leach, and Kiffin are going into their second year.

Probably Sark. Texas seems to fire their coach every 3-4 years.

Mullen has a lot of the Florida base split, this is a big year for what kind of a coach he’s going to be ultimately. I think we’re all well aware of his bad recruiting and antics and if his teams become perennial 4 loss types then I can see him canned in 2 years.

I think Sark will be first to go, but I'd be happy if it was Mullen.

100% Leach. No question.

Imagine if LSU were to hire a competent coach like Billy Napier or Matt Campbell.

Hell, may even be worth taking a swing at the Lane Train.

Yes. Harsin wins the NC next year then gets fired after going 5-7 the following year.

Kiffin with LSU level talent makes me nervous. I just said Coach O because of the underwhelming season last year, but mainly because of the off field issues.

I don't think the off field issues will ultimately do any damage to O but his persona will wear thin if LSU has another bad year in 2021.

If you were going to put betting odds on it, I think Orgeron and Mullen would be at the top. I say this as an LSU fan that wants Orgeron to succeed. It’s just that if the off-field stuff actually gets to him, or he has another .500 conference season, he could run out of good will from 2019. I don’t think either of these two things will happen but the possibility does exist.

Beyond those two I think it’s likely Auburn or Tennessee. I don’t see any of the other established coaches going anywhere, and the 2nd year guys are all at schools that aren’t likely to fire them over performance unless they’ve had ample time or it’s really bad.

And the usual suspects seemed to have already fired one in the last couple of years. Too soon for Leach or Kiffin, or the other 2nd year ones. Pittman showed progress in Arky, AU and SCar all have first year coaches. Same with Sark. Saban and Jimbo looking secure with top 5 finishes. Maybe Smart, if UGA somehow sucks with all of their talent. But much more likely Coach O, right now.
