The article was updated after I posted that. It was declined. I posted that it was declined and then they filed the new warrant.

Which is not a crime so WTH are police responding to it? Should have been facility staff asking LSU admin people to have their KIDS knock it off. Then if the players didn’t, call the police. The Beckham thing would’ve had a better look had the officer just hooked him up at the time for the misdemeanor. Not a good look going back to get him on a misdemeanor already committed in police presence / actually kn the police officer himself.
When I viewed the video, I was expecting to see a total joking “good game” slap on the butt, but found that Beckham was in fact being an asshat - acting naturally actually. Again, arresting on site would’ve had a better look IMO.

Police have no business being in a national championship locker room. Odell doesnt really either but he was probably invited by the players. But if LSU staff lets the players mess things up cause they partied too hard sugar bowl can send lsu a bill. That cop pressing charges is ridiculous. What a stuck up bitch.

People keep saying "you can't touch a cop, what do you expect?"... but the fact is, the cop is SO out of place in there, that nobody can answer what they'd really do.
Has there EVER been cops trying to raid postgame celebrations of this magnitude? Past BCS games, Super Bowls, World Series, NBA Finals, NCAA Final Four?
This seriously might take NOLA out of the rotation for such events.

Police officers deserve no more respect than they give. In this day and age with all that's out there with the racially tinged police harassment, what in the frick was he doing in their locker room interfering with their celebration in which nobody's rights were being violated?
Alabama fans have no room to criticize here as it's tradition to celebrate a Tennessee win with a smoke and our players would act the same if little Barney Fife came into their locker room pulling the same shite.
What made him think he had a place to be there and to interject himself into something that was of no concern to him? Little want to be authoritarian bitch if you ask me. It was written all over him.
Eventually, a real cop came in and told them it was fine and too carry on and hauled Barney Fife's arse out of there before he ignited a damn riot.
That is a dangerous cop who needs to lose his badge and gun asap. That's the type that overreact, get scared, scream at the top of their lungs in a cracked panicked voice, and then freak out and shoot someone without cause.
