Here is your 20 team SEC. 4 permanent rivals, 5 rotating opponents.

Duke? Maybe I could see a case for the other 3 but Duke is unconscionable.

Think about how shitty Georgia Tech is.
Think.
Now ponder the fact that Georgia Tech has defeated Georgia more recently than Mixxou has.

Not shabby but taking Clemson over duke

Imo, UVA/UNC is the priority. You get those, and you block the BIG out of the South and the fastest growing parts of the country altogether. Duke is a sweetener for UNC to make that happen. FSU is the best football brand after that.

TV execs will probably require Clemson over Duke so here's an alternate version.

SEC WON'T split Tn./Vandy.
Put Ky., Tn., & Vandy in the East keeping Ala./Aub. in the West.

Someone really doesn’t want to play Bama every year and must keep Vandy at all cost….

Kentucky makes more sense in the east with UVA and (N)Carolina though, too

These threads have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime.

How does two universities block the Big10 out of the South?

If this is about money, it's not gonna be Virginia, Duke and N. Carolina.
The Tourney doesn't even make enough money for CBS to air it like they used to. They had to sell it off to court TV or whatever it is in the early rounds.
This will be done with football in mind. FSU is a possibility. Clemson also. But I'm not sure if that actually puts more money in each school's pockets. As good as those two are, they aren't what OU and Texas are from a $$$ standpoint. And they don't really expand the total SEC fanbase that much. Have no idea why SC has always been second fiddle to Clemson, but SC has a larger fanbase in the state and same with the Gators and FSU. With Texas, we have the two most popular universities in the second most populated state in the US that's football crazy. OU obviously has huge pull.

The BIG covets UVA/UNC and potentially more (GT, Duke, FSU?).
If UVA/UNC go SEC, then the BIG isn't going to take some random spermtail (GT, Duke).
