Well the regular season for LSU 2011, and bama last year were two of the best regular seasons ever. Both of them lost in dramatic fashion. So it’s a tie

I'll say 2018 Alabama was more overrated because USC lost to another all-time great team in one of the best games in college football history. They didn't get blown out.

05 USC wasn't overrated. They lost to a great Texas Squad in the last 30 seconds by 3 points. 2011 LSU and 2018 Bama got blown the frick out.

Before the national championship game I thought this Bama team was the best team I'd seen in my lifetime, and that is saying something. I thought they would crush Clemson. I really did. Not sure if that makes them overrated as a "team", but certainly for one game they were.

That 2004 OU team and 2018 bama have to be tops. Maybe 2011 LSU.

Yeah, the 03 Oklahoma team had a lot of chatter. They were still favored to beat LSU even after the B12CG debacle.

Maybe Clemson is really the best college football team ever and we just didn’t know it. I thought this Bama team was the best team I had ever seen as well and maybe the best team in college football history
