Just saw on ESPN that the starting LG and 2 others are suspended. Is this a big loss Bammers?

I’m sure they will find away to have their suspensions lifted and three 5th string walk-ons are about to get the death penalty.

Brown is a huge loss as he's our starting LG and our backup isn't anything special. Baker and James have barely played.

They did not travel to the Orange bowl for a violation of TEAM, not NCAA, rules.

Edit: and Brown is a huge loss, especially if he would still be out for the title game and we played Clemson. The backup at his spot has been rough a lot of the time.

There is a noticeable difference in Alabama's run game when Brown is starting.

He's a monster in the run game.

This isn't THAT big a deal, though.

Statement from Nick Saban:

“We have three players, Deonte Brown, Elliott Baker and Kedrick James, who did not make the trip and are suspended due to a violation of team rules and policies.”

Starting LG Brown is big, but we've won without him, and OU can't stop anybody anyway

Brown has been at less than 100% with a turf toe and likely Cotton plays a lot anyway, but Brown is huge in the run game when healthy.

It must really be horrible to not see your team beat one of the biggest rivals. You have resorted to thinking that something shady is going on all of the time. The fact that LSU hired a fricking loser head coach and has a loser staff doesn't matter. Everyone is in on a conspiracy.

Imagine if the NCAA drug tested every team all year.

There would be hundreds of suspensions

Brown Is better than Cotton at LG in the running game but Cotton is a good player and played a bunch of winning football for bama. He was the starting RG last year and we won the natty...

That's what Saban announced but there's no way to know for sure. The NCAA doesn't release this information. Dabo took it upon himself to make it public.
