I'm certainly not using $30 million, but if the Ewers number of $4 million is correct, it is completely feasible that each of these 5* is in it for $1 million each right? That's not absurd based on the market for players if the Ewers number is correct.

I agree, it certainly seems like that is consistent with what these guys are getting. Factoring in that A&M clearly would have to overpay to get them all interested in a historically irrelevant program, it could be even more. Not like they all of a sudden all signed with a national power.

Wait till athlete’s from other sports start filling lawsuits because of equality issues. Going to be interesting to see what happens with college sports.

Catholics are the richest people I know, they all send their kids to private school. I think they can pony up some NIL money.

Ideally the NFL will start a minor league system for the elite prospects and college football can go back to actual student athletes like college baseball.

Yep, looks like baseball and basketball are about all that is left of college athletics. The basketball situation is improved with guys being able to go straight to the G League and make money if they want.

1. NIL was clearly a factor in A&M’s recruiting success this cycle.

2. The “$25-30 million” figure is stupid as hell and only a fricking moron believes that.

3. It’s BEYOND embarrassing for ND that an administrator tweeted that out as if it were plausible.
