Beside from Kentucky, there are no teams with any true NBA talent. Yeah there might one guy here or there that will make a team, but he will just ride the bench. I can really only think of a few guys who will ever log meaningful minutes in the SEC in an NBA games that don't plays for Kentucky. There is just no excuse for this, the SEC should be way better.

Not really. Remember, back in the day LSU always had guys that went on to play well in the league. Auburn and Bama put out a few guys, Missouri was always a team that was a lock to make the tourney, even State had a good run or two. The talent just ain't coming to the SEC no more.

I think Auburn has three guys on the team right now that have a good shot at playing in the NBA. Danjel Purifoy, Mustapha Heron, and Austin Wiley.

What is Bama's excuse then since they don't pay players in football? Remeber, they are the only clean program other than Vandy

South Carolina's sophomore point guard is currently being seen as a high 20s selection in the draft.

Got to pay softball and women's gymnastics players at Bama. What's left goes to basketball.

LSU has Reath and Blakeney who will both get looks by the league.

Our head coach is a sea turtle though.

There is talent in Sec basketball. It's called Mississippi State women's basketball at 13-0....undefeated.

Yeah but you don't hear people saying "Oh Mustapha Heron, that dude gonna light it up in the NBA." I'm talking about real players that are gonna have good, long careers, not guys who sign 10 day contracts
