Yeah, other than Kentucky, this league sucks. I used to live basketball, now it is just so hard to watch.

Heron, Purifoy, and Wiley all three are expected to be drafted and have long NBA careers.

Sounds like there's just not that many guys out there period that meet your standards. There are maybe one or two can't miss guys in the draft every year. The last NBA player Auburn had that had a ten year career wasn't even drafted.

Moses kingsley will get his shot at the league. Bobby is already holding down a roster spot too. The rest of our guys probably go overseas if they want to keep playing. Like Harris BJ and some others before

I agree with that. Moses Kingsley would be one of those guys I would consider to have a good NBA career.

That Macon guy ya'll have will have a shot. He can drive to the basket, shoot 3's, play defense and make all his free throws.

No it's not. Look at the Big 12 and the B1G.

I would take that bet on Heron. Wiley too early to tell.

Pearl did a very poor job of getting guys to the NBA at Tennessee despite signing a handful of 5 stars and countless 4 stars. Only got 1 guy to the NBA.

Yeah I know it is funny because it's a poor observation. As someone who's involved with AAU, I get to watch a lot of talent. I'm just saying, while heron and Wiley are good, they are not NBA guys. I think Purifoy is probably the best of the three.

Or just that you made it up. I guess the rest of your post is to be determined later.

There's some that will play in the NBA but I agree that there seemed to be a lot more from the 80s through mid 00s.

There were at least always 4 to 6 solid top 25 teams every season during that stretch. Not sure to what degree that's due to lack of top tier NBA talent or just lack of elite complimentary players or poor coaching when there are those pieces. Probably a combination of all those things
