Article from his site
"According to the source, money is a major factor along with recruiting clashes. Florida reportedly doesn’t want Miami to join, Tennessee doesn’t want UNC, and Kentucky doesn’t want Louisville. Louisville brings in the second-most revenue among ACC schools. Miami’s revenue isn’t public, but it’s estimated that they are near the top as well — plus they bring a hometown team in a huge market. "

If these early talks eventually become official, this next major shift in conference realignment would send another powerhouse swimming program to the SEC.
We gonna be stacked in swimming

Floria, Tennessee and Kentucky can all blow me, then. They knew about tu and OU joining and they stayed quiet. Turnabout is fair play.

I don’t see UVA or UNC leaving without their sister schools.

UNC has really left NCST behind. They just don’t matter to either school anymore

I used to think that, but not sure about that anymore. I think either state would likely sacrifice VT and NC State if it was the only way to keep UVA and UNC from getting left behind. Duke is private so really doesn’t have the leverage.

And all of these teams being discussed as being added affect these east teams moreso than the west. So yeah, I can see how they'd want to vote no. Ray Tanner will throw a welcome party for them all, jump up and down screaming "yes" as his vote and invite Clemson over for a spend the night party. Idiot f'ing AD of ours.

Rather Vtech over UVA. Also, would love to have room for ASU and Colorado.

I do think in the long run NCST adds more value than Clemson
Clemson is a far better football program, which enhances the overall quality of the SEC product from a national viewing standpoint.

Clemson is no different than South Carolina or North Carolina. They got lucky with the right coach but from a resource perspective those three schools are interchangeable.

This is the move that makes sense with more and more people cutting the cord and going to streaming only.
Top TV CFB Markets from 2020 (most recent year I found data):
1. Birmingham
2. New Orleans
3. Richmond
4. Louisville
5. Greenville, SC/Asheville, NC
6. Knoxville
7. Greensboro-High Point, N.C.
8. Charlotte
9. Memphis
10. Columbus, Ohio
SEC cities bolded, ACC underlined, and B1G in italics.

you realize that at this rate if the SEC keeps bringing in teams with "far better football" historic powers are going to start going 7-5,6-6 and worse.

Now compare them to NCST (which is who I was comparing them to). There's no way that you can say that NCST is a better football program than Clemson (at least not with a straight face).

There’s that little matter of the GOR until 2036 that makes that article a fart in the wind.
Unless 4 other teams are changing. Maybe Pitt, Cuse, Duke to the Big 10 along with ND and WV to the Big12/Pac10 merger?
