You consider 8-5 good???? If so, Auburn can take his arse. Mazonne may not have had an accurate QB this year, but he had a guy who has beaten Alabama before. He couldn't do jackshit with that.
Our offense had fallen to #71 in total offense under Spav for 2015. It went up to #38 this year under Mazonne. Is that a good enough metric for you?
Ultimately, Sumlin has to go. But to say we didn't do slightly better this year under Mazonne is ludacris.

So, serious non-trolling question, by what metric can you say that Mazzone has done better than Spav?

I mean there is also a reason that he transferred from Oklahoma

Only Jake Spavital can fix the Auburn offense. Supposedly he's now a candidate too.

Brent Zwerneman. The local beatwriter for aggys. Much better rep than fat looch

Texags said mazzone not leaving. Idk if that's good or bad

Who could blame him for leaving aggy?

Don't worry, Jake Spavital and his 3 second offense is just what Malzahn needs.

So why is Auburn choosing between our two most recent OCs? Was Canada the only high profile OC available this offseason?

Lincoln Riley isn't going anywhere that has a coach who could be fired at any minute and he's really the only hot OC left that isn't a head coach...well they could whip Doug Meachem away from Kansas.

Hush. We will help him move.

Mazzone is a competent OC. He isn't a difference maker and makes $1MM+/yr.
If Auburn wants to give him a raise, go ahead.
My thoughts on him leaving are about the same as my thoughts about a cold bowl of oatmeal.

I didn't understand why we didn't target Meachem to begin with.

Just out of curiosity, was there any mention of a pine box? Asking for a friend.

I would be more than happy for Auburn to take "No End Zone" Mazzone off of our hands.
