Can you come up with something a little more original? We've heard the same bullshite for the last two years

Nah, everyone knows Mullen needed the talent these last two years.

You guys got lucky this season but the gap is clearly closing.

It went from 17 - 36 to 17 - 24 -- should have been 20 since you guys had a """"""catch""""""" that led to a touchdown instead of a kick.

Anyway, we keep improving every year and Trask will now be given the lion's share of attention from the staff and have the offense fitted around him for an entire off-season.

Can't wait to play again.

I love when people call this defense bad. Yes, they had bad stretches. But when it mattered, they also held OU to 28 (that game was over at half) and Clemson to 25 (did not score for the last quarter and a half). Two of the best scoring offenses in the country. It was far from bad though. Actually quite elite.

New QB, RB, and OC will do that, what other SEC team is doing the same thing?

LSU is is loaded going into 2020. There will be a drop, off but not big.
Because of injuries and suspensions there were many second teamers that got 3 or more starts on the Oline and Dline and LB.

Incoming recruits fill several spots and depth. Just like every year

We have two very very good freshman RBs with a year in the system.

Three shut down corners. One for,the slot.

LSU will be young but probably more talented up and down the two deep roster in 2020

For a serious reply to your post..

It’s not uncommon for a team to lose that percentage or passing and rushing.

The only two areas of real concern are OL and LB, but LSU played a lot of kids at both spots this year.

A big dropoff? Man, y'all are trying to convince yourselves this is going to happen. Trying to speak and will it into existence lol. LSU returns alot of talent and signed another hell of a class this year to contribute. We have plenty of returning experience and will fill holes and replace departing spots with other very talented players. Will this team he different? Absolutely, but the culture and standard that orgeron has built within this LSU program and our expectations are still the same and we have the talent to contend for a title again next season. Geaux Tigers.

The possibility of LSU taking a step back from an undefeated national title season really has some of you giddy.

It’s quite entertaining.

The way I see it, at least pertaining to the team you root for, we have about 27 points of wiggle room as we take a “step back.” (LSU 37, UGA 10)

So even if you guys return 150% of your production, that only puts you at 15 points. Will that be enough to finally win a big game?

Do you really think this gets under anyone’s skin, after adding another Natty to the case? May be a 9-10 win year next year but after, we comin.
