UGA has been in the outhouse since 1980.

Hoping a foe gets worse instead of you getting better is a sure sign of a loser mentality.

Gaytors take over the East, starting next year. Vols rising as well, the mutts better get used to 3rd place.

Can you come up with something a little more original? We've heard the same bullshite for the last two years.

You lose 4 out of 5 starters. It's going to take time for them to gel the first half of the season and they will take a step back until then.

Our LT and LG rotated most of the season, we will miss our C by far the most, it shouldn't be too hard to find a RG starter.

Our "starting" LT missed 6 games, Rosenthal started a handful of games in his place and looked very good.

Adrian Magee was the starter at LG but lost a lot of snaps to Ed Ingram, a former starter who finally came off suspension this year. Ingram played over 300 snaps this season I believe.

While we certainly have to replace some OL guys, it's not as dire as you think with how much we rotated LT and LG specifically.

We run more of a nickel base set, we were hardly ever in a 3-4. Heck we lost Divinity for half the season this year and the defense played better without him if you want to include him

This was the worst LSU defense since Steele's defense from 2015 and the 2nd worst one from the last decade per S&P+.

LSU defenses ranked by S&P from 2005-2019:

2019 - #20 [Dave Aranda]
2018 - #5 [Dave Aranda]
2017 - #8 [Dave Aranda]
2016 - #2 [Dave Aranda]
2015 - #34 [Kevin Steele]
2014 - #5 [John Chavis]
2013 - #16 [John Chavis]
2012 - #4 [John Chavis]
2011 - #2 [John Chavis]
2010 - #9 [John Chavis]
2009 - #8 [John Chavis]
2008 - #20 [Bradley Dale Peveto/Doug Mallory]
2007 - #7 [Bo Pelini]
2006 - #2 [Bo Pelini]
2005 - #8 [Bo Pelini]

I get what you're saying but a large part of that was the change in offensive philosophy which I expect to see the same drop off for UGA this year. I don't think it was from a lack of talent or coaching on LSU's end.

That didnt have the kind of impact you think it had. It wasn't like it was always teams scoring on us in 4th quarter when we had a huge lead against our 2nd and 3rd teamers. We RARELY put 2nd/3rd team defense out there. Like when Ole Miss was running it up that was starters. When Texas was doing it that was starters. When Vanderbilt was doing it that was starters out there. When Florida had 28 in way less than 3 quarters that was starters out there. alabama, etc...Heck, Northwestern State, a terrible FCS team, had their way with our defense the first 2 quarters.

The defense just wasn't playing good, and it had way more to do with how they played than anything, they weren't "tired" or anything from the offense, they just sucked for stretches of play. We still actually had more possession on average this year than our opponents. It's not like our offense was scoring in 2 minutes or less every time and our defense couldnt get off the field. Our offense was scoring and the defense for large periods just couldnt stop other teams.

Too bad you don’t know what it’s even like to be IN this house

We’re gonna be good next year. No one will want to play us. Book it.

I’ll take your word for it. I was simply saying the defense would have to be on the field more because your offense was better which will affect your rankings.

Maybe, Maybe not. But either way they will have a 2019 Natty trophy to take to the outhouse while they shite.

What does UGA take the outhouse? Walker highlights or the memory of the last two arse whippings LSU put on them?

From 2000 through 2018, LSU had a better overall win% than Georgia.

From 2010 through 2018, LSU still had a better win% than Georgia.

Let's not even talk about NCs.

If that's being in the "outhouse", Georgia must live in the septic tank.

And here sits GA. with all them 5 star players & nothing to show for it. LSU loses 100% of its offensive production, 100% of its defensive production, 100% of its special teams production & still beats GA. by 17 pts. Hats off the GA. for being irrelevant since 1980, yes ladies & gentlemen 1980!!!!
