I liked him better when he would make stat threads filled with incorrect information.

At least the incorrect info had more riveting dialogue in the OP than these threads that read like an old man who just remembered his Facebook password.

Just saw the numbers...wow.

From this season to next season, LSU will be losing...

94% of its passing yds
71% of its rushing yds
49% of its receiving yds
Its starting RG, C, LG and LT
All four starting LBs
4 of its top 5 tacklers
7 total defensive starters

Plus, Joe Brady and Dave Aranda.

Yep, LSU returns to the outhouse in 2020.

Anyone that keeps up with LSU football knows that we will be fine with the athletes we have. As an example, some of our new OL starters have played significant snaps this past year. It is funny this coming from a Georgia fan where Georgia is known as the "Forever Bridesmaid".

How many times do you have to underachieve before it simply becomes "living up to expectations".

Even if we do, we will be bringing a shiny new trophy for you permanent residents of the outhouse to play with.

We just had a season for the ages. I don't care what happens next year. We waxed you and everyone we played this year.

We've been down this road before. We've tried telling fans of other programs they're wrong and LSU is better than others think. Nobody ever listens.

I hope we meet in Atlanta again in December just so we can destroy Georgia once more. Brennan is the real deal and we still have tons of talent on offense and defense.

We comin back.

In Chase and Stingley, LSU has a damn strong argument for the top two returning players in the SEC. Two guys don't make a team but it's a fine place to start.

Our Backup RBs were fantastic this year

They'll probably be pretty good.

Our offensive line should be about the same, alot of the people on the line played alot this year.

You lose 4 out of 5 starters. It's going to take time for them to gel the first half of the season and they will take a step back until then.

I'd be willing to bet our defense will be better.

You lose Delpit and all four of your starting linebackers. You're defense is not going to be better next year

You lost your Heisman qb and the brains behind the offense. It's going to take a step back. That doesn't mean you won't go 10-2 or 11-1 though.

Ed O has UGA & Bama fans melting and Wade has ATM fans melting, all on the first page.

What a time to be alive.

Kind of. LSU has multiple guys returning who had multiple starts last year. LSU didn't start the same OL for many games this year. If you want to say 4 of the 5 that started the national championship game, then sure, but there is adequate experience coming back in that group. I also think our OL was somewhat overrated this season due to the points Burrow and the rest of the offense put up.

Eh, our secondary will still be elite, and our LBs certainly weren't the strength of the defense this year. I do agree on paper the defense should take a small step back but not because of the reasons you listed. But there are a bunch of guys that saw time this year that most non-LSU fans wouldn't really have a reason to know about but there is plenty of talent on the defense. Unproven talent sure, but it's there.

Every time I venture to the SECR, it never disappoints. The amount of jealousy and opposing fans that are interested in our program grows exponentially. We appreciate your interest in our program and hope you stay informed to every move we make with coaching and roster development!

Love to see people telling us we couldn’t do what we just did now saying we can’t do it again with

A) Players they know nothing about

and

B) Coaches who haven’t even been hired yet

Never change, SECr

UGA is in the same boat where we have two real starters back and then 2 more who have several starts and multiple games under their belt. I still believe that both teams take a step back from the gel point. They just need several games to play together before they get it. I'm hoping Newman can have the same effect for our line that Burrow had for LSU this year in that he can cover up some of their mistakes.

I think losing all 4 starters at LB will have a decent sized impact. Now, if the new DC brings in a different style of defense than Aranda was running it could be a wild card but those things don't usually take off until year 2 of the install.

Either way, LSU will still be in the hunt for the SEC championship this year.
