If this is enforced, there will be 50,000 fans outside the stadiums tailgating, drinking, with big screen tv's. The players inside will hear the screaming. Not so much for the traveling team. So it could work for a little while. And no one has to buy a ticket which would mean more beer.

The screaming would be piped in, and videos would be put on the screens as well.

Vandy. Every game will be like a home game.

No seriously that is a good question

LSU won't allow any tailgating if games are played without regular fans.

So I thought to myself, “here’s an interesting question to ponder.” Then the thread is done after the first dang reply. Well done.

Can you imagine no crowd noise?

You'd hear live tv F-bombs from either offensive or defensive coaches on every single play!

Any idea which coach is the loudest Freek!

Can you hear Orgeron going bonkers on the sideline and ESPN bleeping it out

Kudos to the Freek Gang!

Home field advantage is extremely overrated, so I'd say there would be damn near no difference.

Not sure if they will at Clemson myself. Very very small town and campus. Lot of people in small space

Vandy already knows how to play in an empty stadium. We should consult them for advice

What’ll be weird for TV, I’m positive they will pipe sound into the stadiums so it’s not a weird golf match vibe when you watch. I’d imagine it favors the visitors because there is no crowd intimidation. Also the home athletes are going to feel like massive dorks when they instinctively go to raise the roof and pump up the crowd and they look up and remember there’s nobody watching to pump up LOL.

If there are games there will be fans in the stands. At least I think so. So far protests against racial injustice don't seem to have generated a spike. In Minneapolis only 1.8% of the 3,200 new tests have been positive.
