No Fans in the Stands — Advantage Who?

Ok — The imbeciles hellbent on wrecking America win a partial victory and the opening games are forced to be played with zero attendance until say October 1.
Your team is playing — No spectators just the team on the sideline and coaches
Who has the edge? Why?

Who has the edge? Why?

Any team playing State. Because they don't have to listen to fricking cowbells.

Did Bama keep the tradition of the S&C leading the cheer as a permanent tradition or did Saban make them ditch it when he left?

You mean just yelling on the jumbotrons?

The better team, because they're better.

Yeah, it kind of grew on me.

The terrorists, since that would mean they've won.

Advantage no one really. Everyone is hurt by this. I guess teams with no strong home field crowd benefit like Miami and Vandy

So far, loudspeakers and Jumbo-trons have not been declared RACIST and have not been shown to have the ability to spread the CORONA virus. Therefore I would say that the home team would have the advantage if they aren’t STUPID. Blast at high decibels your non-racist cheers (if you can find one because apparently all cheers are now tied to racism) at the appropriate times (like when your team is on defence). Loud applause and boo’s can also be piped in. If that doesnt work just play “we are the champions” over and over again.

Advantage A1abama. They’ve been playing with no fans at 11am for years

I imagine it'll hurt Auburn the most. They'll lose a good bit of that Jordan-Hare voodoo.

Alabama - their fans are usually gone by halftime anyways

Advantage is the away team. Because they're playing an away game in a much less hostile environment.

The obvious benefactor is Auburn.
We all know they struggle in even number years playing at Georgia and at Bama. I mean I would think some Auburn fans might take a deal of no home games to avoid true road atmospheres against their two biggest rivals in which they are a combined 1-11 against on the road since 2007.

True in odd numbered years, but not in even number years. The voodoo only seems to come out when Bama or Florida come to town. Georgia fell victim in 2017 but that's about it.

Fans. They won't waste the day.

Fairly quiet and structured hotel lodging, controlled team gathering and activities. Empty stadium walkthrough, get on the bus on Game Day, go to the stadium, go in, get out, get back on the bus. Not that much different than last year's road games.
Advantage is the away team. Because they're playing an away game in a much less hostile environment.
Home team, OTOH, is losing a lot of the pageantry involved in hosting, and their week at home will be way more disrupted than normal. Not just pregame curfews, but a lot of social interaction and pregame buildup will be missing.
And of course, the more talented/coached-up team has a bigger edge. No distractions other than the silent stadium. No big surge of emotion from a play igniting a crowd, it's going to be more like a scrimmage.
