Drop Champ game and divisions, go to a 10 game SEC schedule?

But does it make sense to Joe Aleva? Or F. King? Because they have a seat at the prime time table this week to voice their opinion on the matter and bring about the changes the LSU fans want. For that matter, why the hell did LSU vote against the 9 game SEC schedule years ago when it was up for a vote?

Either force the LSU Administration to address your concerns or STFU about it.

As an LSU fan, I'd think you'd be fine with the status quo - it makes LSU's path to the playoff much easier if they don't have to win their division or conference, right?

How would you like me to force this rule change?

Because I am trying to say what makes the most sense, not what benefits Lsu...

Like I said, the rule change I am advocating the hardest would benefit Bama more than anyone

So once again you are using other sports to defend your position, yet you dont want to use other sports in regards to a division champ not making the playoff while the second place team does

If we're talking baseball, baseball determines division winners on overall record, not head to head, nor division records. So, if you want to go that route, let us know.

That's exactly what they've done, and they've voted for the teams they personally feel are the best. They've mentioned the "eye test" multiple times, and they look at the whole "body of work" of each team when making their choices.

Good Lord, how can they make it any plainer for the public?

So you are saying using different sports to compare to college football is dumb?

Thanks for agreeing

I either want the committee to go champs only with wildcards, or for them to say conference champ game participants can’t slide below teams that stayed home

I don’t want them to retroactively take away Bamas title. They earned it

So can y’all please try and argue why you wouldn’t want this rule going forward?

Everyone is deflecting using AU. UGA was screwed by the flawed CFB system last year. They completed every task. Won their division. Won their conference. Bama recieved additional rest to heal their LBers, while UGA grinded against AU twice, then the playoffs. UGA was the best team last year amd was hosed by a team that couldn't win their division.

Yet we haven't seen one Dawg whine, bitch, moan or complain. In fact, they've moved the frick on and been super pumped about the future of their program.

They have literally told the public the exact opposite things in back to back weeks

You should worry more about LSU. Because I promise you Bama's is good with any system they put in place, BCS or CFP Bama is fine.

Mainly because this is an LSU/UA/AU site. And I started this convo by stating I can't take this sport serious until they address some major holes in their playoff selections. I have been stating this for years. If you can't admit Bama gained a major advantage on the field by losing their division, then you are just being biased. CFB will always be a regional sport until these issues are addressed.

Quit listening? The public gets told a lot of crap by a lot of of people, actions speak louder than words. And the Committee's actions have been loud & clear at least since 2016 when they seeded OSU in the playoff ahead of PSU who beat OSU head to head AND won their conference. Conference and division champs play part in the Committee's decision making process, it's just not the main criteria for their seeding.

This is just you all bitching about Bama. There was no doubt that Bama deserved the last playoff spot and that Bama was the best team last year.

This thread was started based on Saban voicing his opinion on something he didn’t think makes sense.......

So is he a whiner?

Let’s see if you and others stay consistent

Look I agree with Saban in theory, but the truth is that theory applies to most schools but not Bama apparantly

That is why it is ironic coming from him

He's trying to help the rest of y'all out.
