Ok, I guess this means your not in the "like Saban camp?"
BTW all pro coaches now eat sleep drink pro football 365 24/7 and a lot of them sleep in their offices or fall asleep watching video. College coach are not too far behind...but most balance family and job as much as possible.

Saban seems to really piss people off. He's just this driven guy who pulled himself up by the boot straps guy - typical merican success story - don't see why he bothers people so much. From fill'n station to best coach in college or whatever. Not a very good interview by the way.

It's like Saban said in his 60 Minutes interview. Mediocre people don't like successful people.

Everybody likes Heidi Klum. She is very successful. Most people just don't like assholes.

A lot of dlckheads in history were driven, successful people. That quote is drivel.

Exactly. One can be successful without being an a-hole. I like plenty of Type A personalities. I don't mind highly driven people as long as they acknowledge that they have never achieved their success without the help of others in some capacity.
I think most people are sick of him because in the eyes of so many he has become more infallible than the Pope. He has been and would have been successful anywhere, but much of this run at Bama is because the school itself basically bankrolled a professional team mgmt program working in a collegiate environment. I would love for any of the Bama posters who know to publish exactly how many people the football offices employ and them compare it to every other SEC school. Saban is good; he is this good because he has an army behind him.

I would rather watch HGTV. The bias reporting on this guy is sickening. It's like watching MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. No mention of failure in NFL, his players getting paid money by scouts while still on the team, etc. I could give a flying frick about this money driven, lying little midget.

Did she ask him about the one thing he has failed to do or did she concentrate on his West Virginia upbringing and how he had to run up a 4500 foot hill to collect a leaf?

How exactly is Saban an a-hole?

I guess other teams should start following our lead. It seems successful

Some administrations that can simply won't be doing that. They don't believe in bending the whole university to football's whim. It is what it is. I just find it funny that everyone has put Saban on a pedestal as some otherworldly God of football when the machinery of the whole program is likely what sets his team apart more than his football acumen.

he's going to spend the entire 30 minutes detailing his move to Texas I bet
