Per a source familiar with the investigation: a dozen armed FBI woke up Manafort by knocking on his *bedroom door*

This specific event involved a "search warrant" which means a judge issued it based on belief that circumstances met the "probable cause" standard.

I like Mattis but can't form an opinion on NK - how serious they are. There is barely any chatter about it - in fact just the opposite. Someone in South Korea tweeted yesterday that people there weren't even concerned about it.

Hard to form an opinion at the moment.
It's not a fishing expedition when these people likely got caught up in surveillance and were recorded discussing crimes.

is it worse than a post dawn raid?

Don't know much about it but have read FBI prefers pre-dawn raids. Not an expert on it though.

Manafort met with staff for the Senate Intelligence Committee day before raid which indicates investigators may have argued to a Federal Judge they had reason to believe Manafort could not be trusted to turn over all records in response to a grand jury subpoena.

Yeah, if anything damning would have been found, it would have been leaked already.

It has leaked already. Just needs verification.
Don't know but that's the same day 45 tweeted the military "tran ban". distract, distract, distract
FBI agents raided the Alexandria home of President Trump’s former campaign chairman late last month, using a search warrant to seize documents and other materials, according to people familiar with the special counsel investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Federal agents appeared at Paul Manafort’s home without advance warning in the predawn hours of July 26, the day after he met voluntarily with the staff for the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The search warrant was wide-ranging and FBI agents working with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III departed the home with various records.

Trumpkins figured out WaPo isn't fake news.

Good for them.

However, just hours after Trump retweeted the story, United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley slammed the leaking of this information and said it put America’s national security at risk.

Per ABC News’ Rick Klein, Haley said that the report contained “classified” information and “is putting Americans in danger.”

I've already gotten a few of them to defend Treason. Not sure where one could go from there.

The jurors will be drawn from a pool of citizens in a city Hillary Clinton swept with 91 percent of the vote. Trump got 4 percent.

He should have treasoned in West Virginia then.
