I thought that Jenty being picked so high was ridiculous too.
I was surprised and then even shocked when he was going so high in fantasy drafts. I happen to think Love is a LOT better. But, I'm just an idiot with a keyboad and a fantasy sports addiction.

I actually really love Love's game, he was one of my favorite non-Bama college players the last couple of years. I just think that if you are trying to build your team up, you don't build it up around a RB, unless its a Barkley or Henry caliber player. And even that is debatable. I just don't think that he is quite on that level.

Bro, I loved Ashton Jenty last year (and had him in fantasy too).
Hard to really get a definitive read playing on a shitty Boise State team though.

Thus revealing my eltist snobbery towards those kinds of players. It's probably a me thing. But, when they're playing in the wac or meac or whatever, I usually have them well below guys playing big boy ball.

Hmmm
He had a great season and deserve the accolades, but a lot of it was great coaching and system. I do not know if he has the physical tools to be a great NFL QB, especially in the #1 spot behind the Raiders OL.
He makes much more sense at overall number 1 than Simpson does in the first round.

Bijan broke the cycle most recently

You won't get an argument from me; Simpson was looking great until late in the season. Not sure how he translates into the NFL.
If he's late first round though, he'll have more tools around him. He may not be as good a QB but still more successful if he's got better personnel around him.

I think Simpson could surprise many, he's very accurate and mobile as well.

This is how I know Ty is the better AB and should be taken before Mendoza. Raiders always always pick the worst 1st round picks. Most of their #1 picks turn out to be busts in the league.

Nah, it's hard to tell how they'll translate.
Hell, high school to college recruiting is impossible to predict too.
He looked legit, though. He was also a fantasy dog; maybe the highest overall points earner that year.
