Get rid of A&M and Missouri - addition by subtraction.

This. It's embarrassing that we let them in in the first place TBQH.

Florida State will never get another opportunity for those mentioning them.

UNC is the epicenter of the ACC. Why would it want to come to the SEC to serve at the alter of Alabama?
Football is irrelevant, however. What would be great is the split SEC basketball into divisions again and you would have UK, UNC, Florida, Tenn., Vandy, Georgia, Mizzou (or Auburn in case of realignment) and someone else I'm forgetting. That would be a heck of a battle every year.
Plus, everyone knows that once Coach K retires, Duke will slide back into the second tier of college b-ball. UNC will dominate the ACC most years whereas in the SEC with UK, it would be a yearly battle no matter who the coaches are.

Football = King in the SEC
Alabama = King of Football; SO
Alabama rules the SEC
UNC would never come to a league where basketball is a distant 2nd (some here argue 3rd) sport.
UK and UNC don't need to be in the same league to be rivals.

I think we should add a minus Mssouri and a minus Texas A&M.
The math looks to work.

First of all OU would join the Big 10 if they decided to leave the Big 12 and Okie State would be a part of the deal. That's just how they roll there. The Big 10 schools make the most tv money. That would be their first choice as it was for Mizzou as well. I am sure the SEC would be OU's second choice if they could not work out a deal with the Big10(say Big 10 doesn't want OSU). As far as UNC joining, well, I am uncertain they would have the necessary commitment to football. Basketball does make tv money, but it pales in comparison to the tv money football brings in.

Clemson, Louisville, and UNC.
Pick 2 of 3.

1. Expanding to 14 was an awful idea. We should have stayed at 12, especially if we are never going to have 9 conference games.
2. Anybody who suggests expanding further to 16 teams needs to be banned from the secrant.

Agreed 100%. We need to add negative two teams. We should do that by Templing Mizzou and aTm out of the conference. I'm not sure whether or not that's allowed under the SEC bylaws but we should do it anyway.

Get rid of 2 teams that don't matter. That would mean 2 teams from states that have 2 SEC teams. AL, TN, or MS.

I want Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. That way Bama and Auburn could go to the east and keep all rivalries intact

Oklahoma is going to be looking for an out soon, as well as Kansas and West Virginia.
The Big 12 is slowly becoming the SWC again.

Missouri and South Carolina are two teams I'd remove first. Both joined the SEC under the presumption of "potential" but neither truly add anything.

North Carolina for basketball would be great. Adding them to SEC East doesn't solve the problem for making that division more competitive.
Oklahoma would be a nice get, and I would love to see Stoops melt two/three times per season.
