Correct me if I'm wrong:

These lists of players directly received money from the agent, and not through the school correct?

Is this typical agent shite trying to get future clients, or is this similar to the auburn situation

What do you think the "Auburn situation" is? This is the "Auburn situation". This is all a part of the same thing. The only difference is that through Chuck Persons, Auburn is one of the schools like Arizona, Oklahoma State, USC, where the agents were able to corrupt an assistant or staff member to be an inside man to help bribe the teams best players to leave early. While at South Carolina and all these other new schools being named, they had to go directly to the players or their parents or handlers or whatever.

The schools weren't benefiting from this, the agents and pro game were. Schools like Auburn and South Carolina were victims to these agents who were trying to lure players away from us who otherwise would have stayed and helped their school for longer. (Except Louisville, they definitely benefited because they were the ones paying the players to go to Louisville.)

If this agency was dumb enough to give Quarterman $16,000 then I'm sure every school in the country will be implicated

I said it from the beginning, if everyone is in trouble then no one is in trouble. And if the worst that comes of it is we lose an elite 8 because Bam borrowed money from someone not affiliated with UK to support his mom then I can deal.

It’s not like we were hiring $10 whores during a championship season.

This just exposes the business that everyone knows has been going on. Agents give them money, university acts like they don't know what is going on, everyone profits.

Yeh, that was my point

You don't see a huge difference between an assistant on staff being in on the bribe, and nobody on staff being aware?

Exactly. UK won't lose anything of value. At least to their program

I’m only interested in this.

Guess LSU will be forfeiting that title they won with Ben Simmons

I don't think most of these schools will be punished. It's bribes from agents, not to come play for a certain school.

It wasn't listed in the text part of the article, but one of the pics shows a roughly $55,000.00 loan to Jarelle Martin that played at LSU too.

The reason it wasn’t listed is because Martin took out the loan after he left LSU. Nothing to see here.

Yeah, I do. It makes Auburn more vulnerable to the crimes of these agents. This has caused a lot of damage to Auburn's program. Without them getting Person on payroll, then Wiley and Purifoy are eligible right now. Two extra bodies right now, especially a couple very talented big men could help us a lot right now.

For all we know the greed of these agents is costing Auburn a National Championship. Auburn should file a lawsuit and we deserve a lot of money from this.

Btw, while you were busy worrying about Auburn, did you skim over the part where this particular group documented over $16,000 in payments to Tim Quarterman while he was still at LSU?
Yeah, sorry but LSU is actually the one that's fricked here, not Auburn. LSU played at least one ineligible player, Auburn hasn't done that.

That's not how this works.

But if you're going this route then that also means that Auburn is your 2004 football National Champion.

Yea, not sure how anyone could look at these agent/player dealings and say it is "helping" the school.

Guess there is something to thank Kim Anderson for. His players weren’t good enough to pay.
