I'd bet it is just everyone vacating all their titles and a Stern warning moving forward
Current eligible players may have to sit out

However, I'm pretty sure this is different from the issue that caused him to sit a game at the start of the season. That issue involved a different set of characters offering money for post college representation. If Sexton or Bama made any kind of declaration to the NCAA as part of him being reinstated that was not truthful or was incomplete, there might be some issues there.
You do not lie to the NCAA. I hope they know that

Yep. Also, this documents at least 2 potential reps allegedly having dinner with Sexton or his family. I think it highlights how pervasive this type of thing is (stuff we thought was true but didn't have evidence of) and it also makes you wonder how far down the rabbit hole this thing will go.
What other agents did these players meet with? Surely the ones caught by the FBI aren't the only ones doing this sort of thing. Does the whole sweater get unraveled?
How many different agents paid for flights, trips, meals, etc. that the FBI doesn't have records of?

This will be like an onion boys.
The more the peel away, the more everyone will be crying.

If this is just a small portion of the schools and it’s this widespread then the NCAA isn’t going to suspend/punish all of these schools. They’ll rewrite some rules and that’ll be about it.
Lol that’s what you’re hoping for

The NCAA is a big fricking joke
The "amateur system" is a big fricking joke
College basketball and football is a big fricking joke.
Everyone is getting played. You think the NCAA cares about any of this? They only care about getting caught.

You think they’re going to hammer Duke, UNC, Kentucky, etc. and let the tournament be just the South Dakota State’s of the CBB world? Come on.
Better yet, you think a Florida player hasn’t received any money either?

Yep! Can you imagine what is going on in football?

Congrats to Mississippi State! 2018 SEC champions.

You don't see a huge difference between an assistant on staff being in on the bribe, and nobody on staff being aware?
Yeah, I do. It makes Auburn more vulnerable to the crimes of these agents. This has caused a lot of damage to Auburn's program. Without them getting Person on payroll, then Wiley and Purifoy are eligible right now. Two extra bodies right now, especially a couple very talented big men could help us a lot right now.
For all we know the greed of these agents is costing Auburn a National Championship. Auburn should file a lawsuit and we deserve a lot of money from this.
Btw, while you were busy worrying about Auburn, did you skim over the part where this particular group documented over $16,000 in payments to Tim Quarterman while he was still at LSU?
Yeah, sorry but LSU is actually the one that's fricked here, not Auburn. LSU played at least one ineligible player, Auburn hasn't done that.

Does this mean we can shut our basketball program down now?

This just exposes the business that everyone knows has been going on. Agents give them money, university acts like they don't know what is going on, everyone profits.
To the point---and when we say everyone,
that means EVERYONE , starting with the head coach
who knows but doesn't want to know any particulars
so they can say when busted, "I had no idea it happened here". They may be honest when they say it but dishonest if they feign surprise over
the crooked system of pedaling recruits for pay
under their own nose.

This should be possibly the greatest test in a while to see what sort of teeth or desire to punish schools that the NCAA has left. I personally think they are far more concerned with the lack of revenue they would see by placing a significant number of major basketball programs on probation or post-season bans. You have to think that the size and scope of the teams implicated will have a major impact on any punishment handed down.
It would be different if it were 1 or 2 major programs, and even so UNC got off when they were dead to rights basically. So if the NCAA was unwilling to shut down only 1 of the blue blood basketball programs, why would they shut down 2 dozen?

I'm glad LSU is 2011 national champions because the Alabama offensive lineman was ineligible due to a 35,000 illegal benefit check.

Uhhh, you have had 2 players suspended for the whole season as a result of the FBI investigation, that is clean?
