It doesn't even matter if that's the consensus. We are better off without him. Sulks when things aren't going well on offense. Sits on the bench, hangs his head. No fire. No talking to his linemen, wrs, etc. No encouragement or chewing @$$es out. With him on your team, the sum of the parts is greater than the whole.

LSU
I guess Tx
Penn St

Would trade for him and not think twice. Not his fault your WR had stone hands and your o line wasn’t up to your usual standards last year and he got blamed for it.

You are a fake news factory.

You are among the worst UGA posters on this board. There's also a very good chance you suck cock.

They can get as mad as they want. Doesn’t change the fact that was an amazing catch.

I didn't see anyone get mad. Just one poster says LSU should have paid him.

Just like the Georgia fans in this thread.
I wouldn’t say Grudge. Calling a ball that would have been intercepted if not for a heroic play by the WR a bad ball isn’t a grudge.

I will say it’s been pretty well documented Beck was a huge bitch at UGA who doesn’t take coaching well and ended chased the money at the U. Probably fits better in the culture down on South Beach and that’s fine.

Yep. And I guess Matt Patricia is the only coordinator that can disguise defenses

Saying it would have gotten intercepted isn't true at all, unless it was off a tipped ball. The receiver was always going to touch the ball before the defender, just impressive he actually brought it in

Wouldn’t guarantee him the starting job or pay him double what he got in 2024.

Sour grapes for sure. Maybe he just needed to get out of Athens. It’s ruined many good men.

Media has lot's of time, energy, credibility, and money invested in the kid. Not going to give it up easily.

If things are going well, he's great. WRs with stone hands don't make him make bad decisions though.

Haha I saw that. They’re gonna go rummage through Matt Patricia’s trashcan because they’re on the case!

I'll just say this, when the head of your department is replaced and all the underlings are happy, it's probably a sign that you weren't a good boss. Just sayin'.

I had defended him until I really looked at the reaction at the half of the SEC championship. You want to give a guy like Gunner confidence in that situation, but that seemed like much more going on there than that.

We did not give Beck any WRs last year that could catch. Most drops in college football. Frustrating for UGA fans, let alone the QB throwing them the ball.

Beck wasn't that good last year, but we didn't exactly give him the weapons at WR that he appears to have at Miami.

I am not at all sorry he is not wearing Red & Black this year, it was best for everyone involved - including Beck - that he leave Athens. But I do wish him the best.

Go 'Canes.
