The top 10 seed is literally best case scenario for us. Can't complain at all.

I'm not assuming anything in March, lol. But Michigan State plays D and rebounds. That always travels.

When the entire conference seems to improve when conference play begins, that usually means the conference is bad.
And the entire ACC seemed to improve once conference play began. In OOC play, you had results like Louisville losing by 15 to the SEC’s 14th place team, and Clemson losing to the SEC’s last place team. Heck, even with their win over Auburn, I don’t think anybody was talking about Duke as one of the greatest teams of all time at the time OOC play ended. (They lost to a Kansas team that just got a 7 seed and a Kentucky team that’ll probably get a 4 seed.)
If a whole conference seems to improve in conference play, that really means that the conference sucks and the conference only seems to be improving because the teams in the conference are getting to play against other teams in the conference.
