Why? State is ranked ahead of Arkansas in most eveey single metric(RPI, KPI, DSR, SOS, etc). The only advantage Arkansas had was more Q1 wins, which was offset by State having 0 Q3-4(bad)losses while Arkansas had 5, and ELO. Arkansas did win head to head 2-1, but it was at Arkansas, and they had 20 SEC wins to State's 18, but the unbalanced SEC schedule makes that not as big of an advantage than in the past.
The point here is for Arkansas not to be mad at State. A resume like State's has never been not selected as a host. Be mad at USM, West Virginia, Kansas, or Oregon. One of those stole your host bid not State. If the committee, which I'm sure they did, just didn't want another SEC team hosting, then that's unfair bullshite.

DEI in action. They decided the outcome they wanted, and then worked backward from there. I hope every SEC team wins its regional and then takes as many CWS spots as possible. I want those committee members to have so much SEC Cock on their breath that no dentist will see them.

It truly is not right, college baseball is ruled by the south and the NCAA wants parity as much as it can stomach it. Y'all are getting screwed as a result of it. Hope y'all give whatever regional you go to hell

Just compared St. to Arkansas on Warren. State has Arkansas beat in almost every category. State earned a host spot over pigs, get over it.
